      "Above and beyond"
Our whole experience was fantastic. From the cleanliness to the food. The breakfast staff was amazing. Went above and beyond to make sure our stay there was perfect. Best hospitality staff I've come across in a long time.e
      "Karen and Molly."
Karen and Molly were both absolute delights. They could not have been more helpful. Friendly, efficient and extremely pleasant. They both deserve a pay rise.
"I would 100% NOT recommend this place to anyone."
The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The food in the restaurant was disgusting. I was asked how I wanted the steak, I said well done. It came very rare and with blood all over the plate and other food. I sent it back and all the chef did was cremate the same piece of meat and put it back on the same plate of food. The whole meal was inedible. The cooked breakfast was cold, congealed and over cooked. The continental selections were poor and the bakery items and bread were stale.
      "The Marie Celeste"
Stayed here for 2 nights in early May. When we arrived (at about 6pm) there was no one on reception and it took some time to find the buzzer - we had to ask another guest who sat outside. Agreed the service was prompt after that but it was more than a little off putting. Then we ate in the restaurant - on one night the waiting time for a simple order was awful and the second night the place was clos eon deserted. It was all very weird. The accessible room however was very good indeed and hence the 4 star but please get some staff.
      "Is there anybody there???? Hello"
AWOL receptionist. Arrived rang the bell at reception desk. Waited. Nothing happened. I sat down my husband rang the bell for a second time & we both waited. Nothing happened. Another couple came in to check in and we all waited. Then a guy appeared in Premier Inn uniform told us to ring the bell said we had. We waited. Another guy comes along mumbled ‘ I’m not reception’ just ring the bell. I said we have and I’m not waiting any longer. He scuttled off but think he got the vibe we were unhappy. Receptionist arrived with a brief ‘sorry’ but didn’t appear to be. After checking in the card she issued us with didn’t work as not been activated so had to return to the check in desk. Very very poor first impression. The rooms were super hot, no air con and unable to open windows as the motorway/road noise was terrible. Didn’t get much sleep. The fan in the bathroom was like an airplane about to take off! The restaurant had not a single staff member when I went in or a customer. Shouted hello 3 times and no one came. We went to TGI ‘s across the way at the retail park which was very good with lovely attentive staff. I usually like Premier Inns but not this one.
