Leeds City (Elland Road) hotel

All excellent easy place to use particularly when attending a Leeds United match. Easy parking at a good price as a resident.

Good location (especially for the football which is why we stay a alot). Slept really well - comfy beds and quiet room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with my two children. Food in the restaurant was good and not too busy. Rooms were very clean and good value for money.

Male receptionist was so rude on check in. Paid for early check in, turned up 45 minutes 'after' the 12pm check in time, to be told the room wasn't ready. I'd have said no problem but was told abruptly by this guy that they couldn't kick people out the rooms for us and we should've read the terms and conditions of early check in (you pay for an outside chance of getting checked in early apparently). Got told by the staff they're sick of getting it in the neck when rooms aren't ready for early check in, so a hugely unprofessional and unwelcoming greeting all round. A fellow guest in reception said he runs apartments in Liverpool and would've been fuming had his staff spoke to people like this guy. Customer relations were no better, just stating that there was no way of knowing how this receptionist acted. The room was aw expected with a premier inn, it was fine but would certainly avoid this one in future and will try and avoid premier inns were possible because the service on two fronts was appalling.

We stayed for two nights. The first night, the bed linen for the children's beds was dirty. So, basically, the children and I were very pleased, as the rooms and bathroom were in very good condition, very clean and tidy. Thank you very much to the Premier-In staff.
