"Overnight concert trip"
Came to Leeds for an overnight stay at premier Inn as myself and my daughter had tickets to go and see Yungblud in concert at Leeds First Direct Arena. We wanted to stay in a premier hotel as they never fail us where ever we go and Premier Inn Whitehall Road didn’t disappoint. Fab hotel, great price, and the location was perfect for the arena and Leeds shopping centres. We had a friendly warm welcome as soon as we arrived, room was lovely and exactly what we wanted for our stay. One staff member Morgan went above and beyond for us as we were pushed for time and needed to eat early doors before heading to the arena at 5pm and although food service at the hotel didn’t start until 5pm, Morgan very kindly came in early to make us some food before we had to go which was so lovely of him to do for us and we can’t thank him enough, that little touch made our evening go so smoothly and we didn’t need to stress about time or finding somewhere to eat. The food he made was tasty and we throughly enjoyed it. The following morning we were greeted by a lovely staff member who was on the breakfast service, she was so welcoming and very interested in asking how our evening went and if we’d had a lovely time which we felt was so lovely of her to ask. Breakfast was brilliant, everything was set out lovely and the breakfast was cooked to our liking. Delicious! Overall we had a wonderful night and a very pleasant stay and already planning to come again!

"Good stay could have been great!"
Stayed mid-March 2026 and subsequently reviewed my stay via Premier Inn themselves, but the review doesn’t appear to have made it onto their own platform or shared with Trip Advisor.
My stay was for one night mid-week and I arrived around 6pm intending to relax for an hour, eat around 7pm or soon afterwards and giving me time to relax afterwards.
On arrival the self-service book in wasn’t working and I was greeted by a lady who seemed distracted (possibly pregnant) and came across as annoyed at having to deal with me which was a shame.
When I stated my intention to eat around 7pm she asked if I could wait until later because “there’s a table of 9 eating at 7pm” and so I said I would be happy to wait until 8pm or just after.
I then went up to my room which was clean and tidy before deciding to make use of the bath, as the day had been quite tiring - all good as normal with Premier Inn.
Having made my menu choices already to help speed things up, I went down to eat at 8pm and was seated by male member of staff who also didn’t come across as being particularly happy.
It didn’t seem very busy, with only two or three tables occupied by not many guests and around 8.15 - 8.20 someone came over to take my order, despite me having said on my way in that I had already chosen what I was going to have.
The food arrived about 15-20 minutes later, nice and hot, tasty and very enjoyable.
After it had been cleared and after a bit of a wait, the sweet order was taken but seemed to take ages to arrive, meaning that I actually finished eating after 9.30pm.
Had to go for a bit of a walk afterwards to let the food settle before retiring for the night and getting a great nights sleep in a quiet room - so big thumbs up there.
Breakfast was very different with friendly staff (I believe Callum has been mentioned before) all-round, and it was a totally different experience staff-wise from the previous evening.
The breakfast was great as usual and the stay could have been listed as a 5* experience if it had not been for the attitude of the staff the previous evening.
I had hoped that it had just been a bit of a one off after perhaps a bad day dealing with difficult customers which might be understandable.
However, after reading some other reviews written around the same time, it would appear that there might actually be a problem with one or two individuals at Whitehall Road that Premier Inn need to address?
I would come back to this hotel in the future and would hope for an improved staff experience/level of service if I do so.

"Helpful staff"
I just stayed for one night for work in late March 2026- great location for city centre and station. Big shout out to Callum for being super helpful and going the extra mile to look after my colleague and I. Thanks

"Great hotel in a handy location"
A comfortable hotel in a great location, close to the city centre. Large room with a comfortable bed. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Lovely bar area as well. Highly recommended.

"Incredible stay"
Callum is incredible. He was friendly, understanding and his presentation was immaculate. Callum was friendly, approachable and professional. Our stay was incredible but the service we received exceeded our expectations. Would and will be back, what a fantastic way to spend our weekend.
