"Great service"

Great experience everytime I go, Ray runs the restaurant like he's running his own family run restaurant. He remembers my kids, and makes a big fuss over them. Ever attentive and eager to please. You might be thinking, meh it's a premier inn, but as far as service goes, when Ray is there....I'd say he makes the experience 5* Have you ever been for breakfast, (not staying in the hotel, just for breakfast) and the kids keep asking if they can go again.....I have, right here!

"Lovely hotel next to the canal"

Lovely friendly hotel, we were given a family room so we had lots of space in the room, in the smaller block to the back of the hotel, where we could park right outside. We had breakfast which had a great choice. Staff very friendly. Room was clean, just a few marks on the walls but we slept well, so quiet. Great to see all the narrow boats on the canal. 5 minute walk to the supermarket and 10 minute walk to bars and shops. Would stay again if in the area.

OK. Good location - nice walks along nearby canal towpath, and near very big Sainsburies. I notified shortly after checking in that my desk lamp didn't work, and was promised that this would be fixed later that day. It wasn't fixed when I checked out the following morning. Also, my room didn't have any USB sockets, which I thought a bit surprising.

"FABULOUS!!!"

The hotel was excellent. Very comfortable, clean & quiet. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble. Jordan who was on reception for most of our stay was an absolute darling & went out of his way to make us most welcome. The staff in the restaurant were also Fab & made us feel very special.
