"What a lovely Premier Inn!"
What a lovely Premier Inn! It's like none I've ever stayed in before. Small but perfectly formed! We had a ground floor room which was like having a one roomed house with it's own front door. Huge room, usual bathroom with all the usual things. We didn't need either but it also had two mobile fans and a mobile radiator. Beautiful location by, what looks like, a canal. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We also ate in the pub next door when we arrived and had breakfast there in the morning - great selection and service again was friendly and helpful. We got a taxi (ordered on a direct phone in reception) very quickly and also used the same taxi firm to return in the early hours! All in all a really good stay and we said when we left that we'd definitely go back.

"Premier inn cave"
We stayed for one night after attending a gig at the Piece Hall. The room was ok for this purpose as we only slept there.
However the room (No. 4) was located in the corner under some scaffold steps which looked semi permanent. The room was very dark & the windows didn’t open. The AC didn’t appear to be working and the room felt dark & damp.
Quite handy for the Piece hall, there’s a few buses & an Uber was only £ 5/6.

"Ok stay"
As expected room and good location, but building is tired, grounds unkept - sadly as the hotel has a lovely location beside the canal. Understand the separate Brewers fayre restaurant is closing down, so not sure where breakfast will be served. Breakfast food as expected, hot cooked to order which was a pleasant surprise, but staff disinterested- but of course they are possibly losing their jobs do understandable?!

"Great hotel, great location."
Great stay for 1 night to see Gary Numan, lovey room that they put an extra bed in, also extra chair. Room was clean and met all our needs for the night. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Reception at the hotel was very friendly and informative. Alisha was the receptionist who welcomed us and was extremely helpful. Hotel was only a few minutes to The Piece Theatre by Uber.

Just back from an overnight stay,what a great welcoming hotel in some of the best scenery I've seen.
Staff very friendly & helpful .
To try & cope with the temperatures we had a pedestal fan & free bottles of water in our room which did the job as the room wasn't to hot
The location is perfect for the piece hall for visits .
Would definitely use again
