"‘Fast and Furious 20: Castleford Cruisers’- avoid like the plague if you value sleep and your sanity."
If you want to be an extra in the New Fast and Furious Castleford Edition or you love to be soothed to sleep by the sound of revving engines, popping exhausts and people who need to get a life then this is the hotel for you!! We stayed for 2 nights and it was hellish. They may as well have been doing handbrake turns at the bottom of our bed, the noise was ridiculous. The food in the restaurant was the worst Premier Inn food I’ve ever had and by the looks of things, the chef was working on his own. The waitress was a credit to the staff team, she was excellent. The location for this hotel is great but sadly I’d rather stick pins in my eyes than stay here again. Came home absolutely shattered with 2 shattered kids to boot. Appreciate this isn’t the staffs fault but surely they can liaise with local authorities, it’s got antisocial behaviour written all over it. Avoid (unless you’re Vin Diesel obvs)
"Fine but noisy"
The room was lovely and clean and the bed was really comfortable. The main issue we had was, the boy racers at the front of the hotel. There was screeching in the car park until 1am! And it seems like a regular thing as there were tyre marks all over the place. The only way this could be helped is by replacing all the windows at the front of the hotel to block out the noise. For this reason I would not stay again. Which is a shame as the hotel was fine.
"Stay if you’re a fan of Fast & Furious and not sleeping"
Car park opposite is used by boy racers beeping horns, racing outside hotel and doing burnouts. Was due to stay two nights, was up till 4am until they stopped and went somewhere else second night. Complained, no compensation because the noise was external despite staff on reception saying they have a legal team involved with the Xscape company who own the huge car park directly opposite the hotel. So despite Premier Inn knowing there is an issue with noise and anti social behaviour they do not warn you or provide compensation, not even partial. Just be warned if you’re planking to stay on a Friday or Saturday night.

Great welcome at check in, great premier plus room and good table and customer from Terri in the restaurant and the team. Very convenient for my work

I have stopped here numerous times however I never realised that it does food . We decided to get the meal deal where you get breakfast and an evening meal The girl that was welcoming us in was very bubbly and a pleasure she certainly seemed to like her job we had not decided if we were going to eat here and she told my partner dont worry if you do I will remember you which she did 5 stars for our treatment My partners phone was flat and between the girls in the restaurant they managed to get her one and charge her phone while we ate really helpful The hotel is well situated if you like shopping there are ample places to eat and a wetherspoons if you want a drink outside the pub are some small rides so kids are catered for all in all worth a visit
