"Self Service Hotel"
While the saying "you get what you pay for" is applicable for this budget brand, the experience we had recently was not good. From the self-service check-in kiosks (first time i've seen them in a hotel!!) to the staff who didn't seem to want to service the customer (when asked to drop off more towels in our room while we went to dinner, we were told to come to the front desk and pick them up ourselves upon our return!!), this experience doesn't bode well for us to stay at this Premier Inn again. Another major issue with this particular location is the on-site parking situation. There are too few spaces, so you never know if you'll find a free spot and the hotel uses a 3rd party company to manage the spaces, so you can't just add it to your hotel bill like most hotels. We had to park in a lot around the corner (near Sainsburys) and walk 10 minutes back to the hotel each night.

No buffet breakfast, so 5 of us all got our food at 5 different times, unusually waitress wasnt happy and wash crashing dirty plates around. Room (the same one I have used 3 times before) smelled of smoke and was in need of a refresher.

Superb service and fantastic attitude from Josh and Steve over the last few days. We travel on business often and these guys made our time the Prem Inn really easy. Will be back again soon
