Chichester South (Gate Leisure Park) hotel

Afraid our stay which at over £160 Room only was not a “budget” stay was marred by some strong odours emitting from the pipework. Acrid and with a close resemblance to a farmer spraying his fields. When we approached the front desk they very kindly offered some room deodorant spray, which would have made matters worse as my wife is severely asthmatic. So we kept the windows open all night (overlooking a car park servicing a cinema and 4 or five fast food joints One of the worst nights I had to n a Premier Inn in a long time.

I paid for one night with no extras, costing 104 pound in Staines. How can you justify charging 216 pound for same deal in Chichester? Ridiculous.

Just had another lovely stay at Premier Inn Chichester (probably our 12th so wish they’d do a loyalty scheme 😂!!) . It’s our annual pilgrimage to visit friends and have a couple of days at the seaside at Wittering. The location is perfect. We always book a Premier Plus room which we think is worth the bit extra. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed during the heatwave and the air con was a blessing. All the hand/body wash bottles in our bathroom were empty when we arrived, so my partner went to reception to tell them. By the time he got back to our room, a nice man was delivery new bottles to us. Excellent service. All the staff were polite, and efficient. We only had breakfast, which was hot and there was a good choice. We couldn’t fault our stay and we will be back again. If not this year (although we might if this great weather continues) we will definitely return again next year.

Fantastic hotel, amazing service, plenty of parking, lovely breakfast, comfy rooms. Reception staff really go out of their way for you. They allocated all of our rooms together without us even asking, they offered my son a big jug of iced water after a long drive in a heatwave. It's an easy walk in to the city centre, we were facing the road which was a bit noisy but the room had secondary windows, when closed couldn't hear the road at all and the air con was such a relief in the heat wave. 10/10 for this hotel.

Disappointed that our room was not ready as we had to chabg and be ready at the same time as the rest of our family and friends staying here, for a family wedding. In the end we were provided with another room that the receptionist was able to change at the last minute. But we then only has 30 minutes to unpack and get changed. The system needs to change to organise early check in requirements.
