Burgess Hill hotel

Normal good value stay with helpful staff. Free breakfast offered and adjoining pub is being rebuilt.

I had some trouble with the parking registration and Zac from the reception was exceedingly helpful. He was lovely to talk to and made the whole process incredibly smooth despite complications.

Oliver, Great member of staff, very helpful. Nothing was too much. Will defiantly go back. Hopefully next time restaurant will be open.

We have stayed at the Premier Inn Burgess Hill for two or three nights before to visit our daughter who lives nearby and as an over night stay over is just the job - unfortunately this is no longer the case. My wife booked the hotel some weeks ago and we had no idea that they were "refurbishing" the property until a member of staff called to warn us that as a result of the said work there was no longer a bar or restaurant, although a complimentary breakfast was available. It was, of course, too late to make alternetive arrangments. We have just returned from a three night stay and found the hotel to be something less that we had previously experienced and unworthy of Premier Inn. They are knocking down half the hotel, there was no heating in our room and the aforesaid breakfast was inadequate; I might add the remaining section of the hotel is also very shoddy. Moreover, after a quiet weekend, returning to the hotel late on Monday night we found numerous workers sleeping in their vans in the hotel car park. Altogether it was an unpleasant stay and we won't be back until the work is complete, at the end of this year. Naturally, my wife has contacted customer relations who were not interested, just lots of apologies! Sorry guys that is not good enough. Clearly this property needs updating but don't keep it open at the same and pretend all is OK, it is not.

The service was excellent. No food at Burgess Hill for a year because of building work! The room was fine and the beds were good.
