"Great stay"
Had a great stay & lovely staff, the building itself needs some tlc and interior is dated but clean.
Will definitely return again.
Many thanks.

"Great staff, poor room"
Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Viv who checked us in.
The room was in a really poor state. There was mould everywhere around the ceiling, cobwebs and a spider up there too. The bathroom was showing signs of damp, with some questionable stains in the loo.

"Old, damp, tatty hotel .... Do not stay"
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The place is very rundown both externally & internally, as was the Beefeater pub attached. When we parked we could not believe what a state it was for a Premier Inn. We always choose Premier Inn as we feel we know what to expect but clearly not this time, we did not expect this dump. The 1st room we were given (room 6) reeked of damp. It was a corner room and had 2 external walls that from the outside you could see were damp. Carole on reception was lovely and moved us a couple of rooms along but she had to leave reception to make up the spare bed for our son as there were no other staff to do it ! Later n the day when we had our showers, the bathroom then stunk of damp and this is when we saw the black mould on the top of the door, ceiling and tatty rotten skirting in the bathroom. Due to this we had to sleep with the bathroom door shut as I am asthmatic and mould effects my asthma. The rest of the hotel and pub next door were not much better. The pubs bar furnishings were very tatty & generally old & dirty. The women's loo has damp & plaster off the walls. The whole hotel & pubs needs a good overhaul and refurbish. I cannot believe we paid to stay at this hotel and I will be in touch with your customer service team. We are very unhappy customers which is very rare for when staying in a Premier Inn hotel. The only good thing about this hotel was the staff. They were very helpful, friendly but clearly very understaffed and overworked.

"Decent stay but in need of redecoration"
I used to really like Premier Inns as they seemed a cut above the other budget hotels. Arundel was no exception when we stayed a few years ago. On our recent visit, we still had a comfortable night and the staff (in the hotel and at breakfast) were lovely.
Sadly, the hotel looked in need of re-decoration. The exterior looked scruffy and the bathroom looked as though it should have been decorated at least 2 years ago. This isn’t the first Premier Inn where I’ve witnessed a lack of ongoing investment and, given the price increases over the past few years, this is disappointing. It makes me wonder if Whitbread are struggling to make the chain financially viable.
