"Stay ruined by rude staff"
Hotel was fine but the tone of the stay was ruined by the inexplicable rudeness of the reception staff at checkin. Some immediate customer service training would be advisable. Terrible way to to welcome guests.
"Do not have food here!"
Room was lovely, clean and just what we needed for 1 night for myself and young daughter. However, do not pay for the food! Booked our table for 5pm, turned up and was asked to come back in half hour as chef only just arrived. Once we returned we were asked to take a table in the bar area. All the chairs were torn. The table we ended up at had not been cleaned from the evening before. There were peanuts strewn across the floor. I wish I had taken pictures as proof. The toilets in the restaurant were also disgusting. 4 toilets, and 3 had not been flushed from the night before. 1 toilet seat was all broken and could not be used to sit on. We had already paid for the meal deal otherwise I would have walked out. Having already paid we were really hoping breakfast would be better. At breakfast we were told to go and take a seat and we would have our order taken. 20 minutes passed and I eventually asked if we could order. Once the breakfast arrived, everything was overcooked. The hash browns had no softness to them as they had been cooked so much. The bacon also overcooked. The sauces were nice but small. The poached egg was also overcooked so the only runny yolk was what was on my plate. I have never had an experience like this and will certainly not return. It wasn't even a case of you get what you pay for as it isn't really cheap.
"Great quality for a very reasonable price"
This hotel is very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money! The rooms are well equipped, the bed is comfortable at a great price point.

A well located hotel close to the station and town centre.Room was clean and tidy and comfortable.However as with every review I have done for this group the Wi-Fi is appalling.

good hotel and has neem refurbished recently. Not the best of locations. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful
