"Appalling ..."
Ian Taylor 1/5 6 minutes ago on Google Well, where do we start. Absolutely shocking and disgusting service from the onset. We were getting married on 29th August at the Grand Station next door. We had over 130 guests staying here in this hotel over 2 nights. The Manager Phil came out and told us the cars will be stolen and they cannot stay there due to the quality of cars. I went to question this personally and he denied he said this and when asked for his name covered his badge up. Luckily someone had vidoed his message of not being able to park there and got his name. Parking is £16 which they do not take responsibility for. Tracey the manager of Bluebrick also said Phil was out of order and should not have said that. The "bar and restaurant " was even worse. It was closed off, we could not have food as no chef, was told that for breakfast they could refuse us as only one member of staff on. There was no draught Moretti, madris lemonade or coke left and after serving 6 pints of Coors that had run out also.we were told delivery had not been made for a week. Many people from our day moved and booked into the Patshull Park Hotel or the Novotel instead. The evening for about 40 of us instead went to the Sunbeam pub for dinner and drinks instead and their service was incredible. We have your email of how did we do of which more detail will be added along with a letter to the CEO. In essence and to warn anyone who has an event or wedding planned at Grand Station do NOT let your guests stay here, point them to the Novotel across the road.
"ok"
Hotel is excellent, the only downfall is the restaurant / bar. You never know whether it is going to be open or not. This has been the same every time we have stayed at this hotel. Needs sorting out. About 6 people were turned away during my stay - ridiculous, get it sorted out.
"Poor Service at Premier Inn Wolverhampton City"
The service at the Premier Inn Wolverhampton city was dreadful. On the evening of our stay only one woman on the Bluebricks bar, serving drinks, clearing tables and cooking food.people were queuing for aomg time to get food and drinks. The following morning for breakfast, one woman again welcoming, setting and clearing tables and serving food. People were queuing for up to an hour to be seated. We queued for half an hour to be seated, then waited a further 15 minutes to have an order taken and a further 20 minutes to get the breakfast served. We had to get our own cutlery. There were no small plates for toast, we had to use dishes. Apple juice and orange juice was not replenished. Everyone was complaining. Not enough staff and a complete lack of operational management.
"Absolutely excellent"
Brilliant service by both the reception staff and especially Tracey the duty manager who served us with breakfast both mornings. Could not of asked for better although she was rushed off her feet she still made a special little table for me and my wife to have our first breakfast as husband and wife.
"LACK OF STAFF !!"
Lack of staff in this premier inn the manager Tracy in the restaurant on sunday 17th August was on her own dealing with 100 people, she was taking orders serving orders filling up the self service part of restaurant a very demanding job but Tracy dud thus all o her own Lack of staff, and yet she carried on regardless,my family and myself fell so sorry for her.It certainly isn't good engough more staff should be on duty when dealing with such a high volume of people. All I can say is Well done Tracy you did a brilliant job ON YOUR OWN!! I only hope you get rewarded for you time and effort..
