West Bromwich Town Centre (New Square) hotel

Location was perfect for access to town centre. The reception was small so no atmosphere to write about. We had a twin room and it had adequate space but only 1set of towels. The kitchen was closed and we were not notified until few days before arrival and that we would be given complimentary continental breakfast. This was self service in the reception area but was not staffed so you had to wait for someone to appear to replenish. I was mortified to see that the bananas were so green. The choice laid out was very sparse and a toaster wood have been welcomed to at least have something warm. It was impossible to carry everything back to your room. I definitely would not return to this hotel

The bath tube plug without the string or part to unplug, needed to find service to help to unplug everything. the bath curtain only have five hook and made it too short. Soft bed have vomited smell, as there was no other family room at the time, staff said will need to find out which room tomorrow at 10:00. But next morning, fire alarm ring to wake while hotel people up at 7 and we need to rush out the hotel and wait for the fireman come to check, at last found someone smoking in their room and tried to remove the smoke detector cause the issue(which the staff is good to deal with the situation and keep us safe). Have been to many premier Inn, sorry cannot recommend this one.

Avoid this Premier Inn West Bromwich. It is a tired poorly maintained hotel that is badly managed. Do not prepay for breakfast with Premier Inn. I prepaid for a breakfast which they could not provide because the independent restaurant closed down. Premier Inn obviously knew the restaurant would be closing but so far they have not answered my verbal and written request for a refund. I will of course refuse to let them rip me off

Spacious room Refurbishment needed in bathroom. Requested help with a problem in the room which was never dealt with throughout our stay making sleep difficult. Quality of breakfast not so good Majority of staff were friendly and helpful

My review relates to a stay the evening of Thursday 02/07/26 and the morning of Friday 03/07/26. We’ve stayed in many Premier Inn’s and this was our best experience of all. The hotel and rooms are new & clean. Breakfast was 10/10. Vanessa - thank you for your amazing customer service especially to my partner who is gluten free and vegan. You were so helpful and took his order at the table which we really appreciated. Your customer service really stood out to us as I told you when we left. I didn’t get the chef’s name but the breakfast he cooked us was fantastic - the best we’ve had in any Premier Inn’s. Thank you Vanessa & Chef!
