Stourbridge Town Centre hotel

I've stayed in over 40 different Premier Inns and this was the worst. In the run up to my booking I had two emails - one first telling me there would be building work and reduced parking. The second tell me the restaurant was closing. Not great in the run up. As a result, it looks really run down on arrival. The room hadn't been cleaned to an adequate standard - unclean carpets with biscuits trodden in and an unemptied bathroom bin. The room was really tired, very stained carpet, veneer peeling off furniture that become a sticky trap for dust and dirt. Also had a lovely view of derelict land. The beds were comfy and clean and the bathroom was adequately cleaned. I complained, and was offered a room move - I didn't take this up as we had young kids who needed to get to bed. We shouldn't need to move rooms - it should have been sorted before we arrived. The lady on reception did bring us some waters and chocolate to say sorry - so that was appreciated.

Location is bleak but ok for access to town. Atmosphere was fine - normal Premier Inn. Room was smaller than normal but clean. Insufficient towels on arrival and only 2 teabags. Adjacent pub which would normally have been used for breakfast and dinner had been sold off and was closed. Nearest alternatives were a car drive away. Very dry and tasteless pre-packaged croissants were offered as a complementary option. They were truly awful. Recommend you avoid this hotel unless and until the breakfast/dinner situation is resolved.

Arrived at 8pm due to being evacuated 1 person running whole place, difficult to contact and even then forgot! Room is tired, air con creaks No bar or restaurant! £110 for 1 night!!!

We recently stayed at the Premier Inn Stourbridge for our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, even surprising us with a bottle of Prosecco in our room along with a lovely handwritten card, which was such a thoughtful touch and meant so much to us. Our room was spotless, clean, and comfortable, and throughout our stay nothing was ever too much trouble for the team. Everyone we met was absolutely lovely and genuinely cared about making our wedding stay memorable. Thank you all for your kindness and exceptional service. We would highly recommend Premier Inn Stourbridge and are so grateful for everything you did to help make our special occasion even more special.

We had been here before last year and service was so much better. This year we was slightly disappointed. Firstly when we arrived both the lifts was not working, we was not happy as we had to lugg our luggage up 2 floors aswell as a buggy with a baby in on a very hot day and when we was very tired already from traveling. So that definitely was not a great start. Also we found no one at the desk most days and when we did they were going outside for fag breaks or talking on the phone. as we asked for our room to be cleaned, with fresh towels and bedding , needed more toliet rolls and bins changed. This was requested from us in the evening then once again the next day in the morning, yet, even though notes were placed on the system, no one did any of the things we kindly asked. The lady at the desk said it would be done when we are out. But In the evening when we returned back to our hotel room it was still messy and nothing had been done. We was very disappointed. On the positive side there was a lovely, kind and very helpful lady on the desk called Galya that evening, who we explained the situation and she quickly with no hesitation gave use clean towels, more toliet rolls and even went out of her way and changed our bins by herself. Obviously the bedding she could not do but apart from that she was amazing. And definitely a credit to the hotel. We also enjoyed the bath and shower. It was very helpful they had soap to wash hands and bath, shower body and hair wash in the bathroom. The beds were lovely and clean and made when we arrived and the room was clean. We had lovely and comfortable beds and slept so well in them. The air conditioning was a life saver especially with the heat wave we had omg was so lovely. Overall the stay was great minus some blips.
