"Never disappointed."
I've been staying at this hotel most weeks since 2016. I have no hesitation in giving my best recommendation to these premises.
Have all my visits been perfect ? No, little issues have arisen, but its how the staff deal with these that matters, they all really do want to help....I usually have breakfast in what used to be the Brewers Fayre next door, now taken under the Premier Inn wing.....apart from an occasional cold plate there's no issues I've found with the food...thanks to you all for making my stays enjoyable ...in no particular order, Kayleigh, Steph, Nicky, Ellie, Harleen, Maz, Roxy, Stacey, Galia and of course Rachel.....

"Comfy hotel but bad staff who lie. Keep hold of your things!"
The rooms were very comfortable and the location is good. Breakfast was lovely and only a few steps away from reception, the man at the brewers fayre was possibly the friendliest human being I've ever met! There was nothing too much for him to do for us he was wonderful! Wish I had gotten his name!
However there are never any staff at the desk? Every time we arrived we had to wait at least 15 minutes until someone came to the desk even when we had pressed the button to let them know we were there.
A small annoying thing (but slightly funny đ) was that we weren't told that there was construction happening directly outside of our room (& couldn't see when we arrived at night) so my mostly naked husband opened the curtains in the morning to find himself eye to eye with the builder on scaffolding outside our window đ
The most annoying part was that I accidently left my charger in the room (obviously my fault) we checked out 15 minutes early and left the card in the box as no one was on reception as soon as I got in the car I realised my mistake and sent my husband inside to see if he could either go back up and get it himself or if someone else could pop in and get it for us before our long drive home. They shockingly were at the desk for once but wouldn't let him upstairs because "the room had already been thoroughly cleaned ready for the next guests" I don't know what kind of thorough cleaning these maids can do in less than 5 minutes? They absolutely refused to go up or let us go up to check and told us to leave which we reluctantly did.
After finding their Facebook page I found out that multiple guests have complained about their items going missing or being told that they hadn't been left when they had. After emailing to complain a few days later I was told they had magically found it and I either had to drive back up to collect it or pay for them to send it back. Very frustrating.
