Solihull South (M42) hotel

Rooms were clean location fine for our needs WE booked the meal deal prior to the Beefeater closures so had to use the SOCIAL bar option Breakfast all ok Evening meal selection not great very little options if you are not a fan of spicy food no meat and two veg option ie Steak pie veg gravy no prawn cocktail all pub classics ??????? We opted for gagen chicken starters with on sauces and smotherd chcken with no chillies or garlic bread Both were eddable but although same meal were different on sunday and monday ie sunday was the better with all the salad served monday a lot was missing

Staff are super friendly i was always met with a smile kate is a wee star ready to go above and beyond an assett to the company rooms are clean and tidy and a mega comfy bed what more can you ask for

We stopped in the premiere inn for 5 nights and all the staff was amazing but Kate went above and beyond for our kids especially our autistic son she helped out with everything we needed and we are greatful for that We love this hotel we always stop here when we visit family

Stayed for a couple of nights for work and Kenzie and the team were brilliant. Really well managed and helped to keep the kitchen running well. Would stay here again and thanks to the team for making this stay enjoyable

As expected with Premier Inn apart from one thing- NO AIR-CONDITIONING! Family of 4 had an awful nights sleep simply because the room is too hot and there is no temperature control or way of opening the window, it was honestly the worst nights sleep I have had at a hotel purely because of the heat. . They have put a rubbish desk fan on the side, which looks posh, but in essence is absolutely useless and just moves hot air around. Premier Inn used to pride itself on a good nights sleep- but not here! Everything else was as you would expect from Premier Inn, it was clean and tidy, the food was really nice, staff were nice- but I will never come back based on there being no air con. In a heat wave and a drought air conditioning is not a luxury- it’s a necessity. Very poor and I won’t be back.
