      "Hot,uncomfortable stay."
We only used the hotel as a one night stopover after a very long flight. Firstly the room was incredibly hot, no AC available. It made for a very uncomfortable stay. I would say that there was a fan in our room on arrival( but it was useless) so I'm guessing other guests had already complained. Secondly, there was only one bath towel in the room.....for two people!, so my wife had to go to reception for another. Lastly, the hotel could do with a little TLC. I would not stay there again.
"Good value for money and very nice staff."
Nice staff and comfortable big room. It was too hot during the night as the AC was not working and the cleaning service could be more available.
      "Breakfast"
Breakfast in the restaurant was lovely. The food was great and hot, the waitress, Millie was very welcoming and had a great sense of humour, we had a joke together. Thank you.
      "Not the best."
Where do I start with this one?? Checked in and received my room key, only to wake up the next morning and being told I hadn't been checked in so therfore could receive no breakfast despite my protestations. The rooms have been nicely refurbished tho. The hotel offers itself in the catchment area of Stratford upon Avon but in reality it's a hour away on a bus. The bar and restaurant doesn't open till 5 and you can tell that the bar staff don't really want to be working. Overall I would avoid.
      "Could be with improvements"
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, as it wasn't far from the NEC. We arrived 20 mins early and was advised we couldn't book in until 3pm , so my husband stated that we would go over for a drink in the beefeater, we were then told it doesn't open until 6pm , we just stated we would just sit in our car , where the woman stated she wouldn't charge us for booking in earlier, by then it was about 15 mins to 3pm. We finally got to our room, it smelt of bleach but with the window left open it soon dispersed. The room looked tired and could do with a lick of paint, otherwise it was fine for somewhere to put our belongings and sleep. We had booked breakfast and the evening meal deal . The breakfast was okay with a good selection, but it was only warm and they only had 1 person working in the kitchen and only 1 serving meals, felt sorry for them as they were just running around. Most of the evening meals were based on something accompanying chips. My husband ordered chicken makhani what he got was white rice from a packet still in lumps, 6 pieces of chicken and the sauce was watered down and tasted more like a tikka sauce, his dessert was okay. I had lasagne which was okay, with salad which was okay, however the dessert of fruit salad was full of sour apple slices, 4 small grapes and a couple of pieces of orange and pineapple, there was no juice. 2nd night we both elected to have a starter and main, their potato dippers with cheese, bacon and spring onions consisted of chips a couple of pieces of bacon and a little bit of cheese on top. With our mains the steak was okay, missing mushrooms but we had them for breakfast next day, more chips and we were charged for having pepper sauce which we never asked for or got, i couldn't be bothered to argue over £4. Would I stay again, don't think so unless I couldn't anywhere else to stay
