      "Comfy, efficient and good value"
Felt compelled to write a quick review having never stayed in a premier inn before. The room was a fair size and the bed exceptionally comfy. The shower worked well enough and the staff were very helpful. For what I paid it was brilliant value. Will definitely use them again
      "Too hot to sleep"
Usual premier inn standard. Spacious room and very comfy bed. Unfortunately I went during the heat wave and this hotel has no air con. They provide fan but even at full speed you can’t feel it. Can’t fully open the window either. The room was so stuffy and uncomfortable. I had a shower and by the time I was dressed I needed another. Didn’t sleep well at all. You have to book to eat at the restaurant over the way. It’s not open to the public anymore just for hotel guests so are pushy about making sure you book if you want to eat there. I didn’t as there are plenty of other eateries nearby.
"Needs to provide AC or to be explicit in the room description that the room can be as hot as the sun in summer !"
Be advised that most of this hotel is NOT airconditioned. The windows open an inch and that's about it for ventilation and cooling. They will gladly provide you with an 8Inch table fan to put against your face whilst trying to sleep in a room that is >35C. Happily I was able to get an aircon room for just £15 more the 2nd night - but the 1* is for the fact they do not specify Not Acircon on their webpage - who would buy a room in summer without AC...? - For balance - Breakfast was good and the AC was excellent for 2nd night
      "Hot,uncomfortable stay."
We only used the hotel as a one night stopover after a very long flight. Firstly the room was incredibly hot, no AC available. It made for a very uncomfortable stay. I would say that there was a fan in our room on arrival( but it was useless) so I'm guessing other guests had already complained. Secondly, there was only one bath towel in the room.....for two people!, so my wife had to go to reception for another. Lastly, the hotel could do with a little TLC. I would not stay there again.
"Good value for money and very nice staff."
Nice staff and comfortable big room. It was too hot during the night as the AC was not working and the cleaning service could be more available.
