"Worst Premier Inn eve"
Falsely advertised as with Aircon just to be told that was not the case as only their premierplus rooms had them. Room was roasting to the point where kids wanted to return home. We ask for another room or change the broken fan, Kate the manager made to efforts to resolve the issue. The morning breakfast was even worse, they only had one person (Charlotte) managing the breakfast session. Milk ran out of the coffee machine, wait time was crazy while they only had one bar operating with the remainder of the restaurant was closed. The selection of pastry of also very bad...do not stay here.
"Very unhappy with service"
We got a friendly reception on arrival but they were unable to give me a room on the ground floor, as I have lung cancer and problems breathing. We were given times for evening meal and breakfast, we did not eat untill 9.15 but we were booked in for 8 o clock, the breakfast was a shambles their was no fruit, no pancakes and the cooked breakfast was dried up and cold and we were booked in for 8.30 plus my husband got covered in blackcurrant juice as the lid was not put on properly and no staff came to help and no apology was given. All we had was toast which we were looking for a hot breakfast and we took the meal deal which is maybe why we got this service. I would recommend noone take this deal and go down for breakfast as early as you can when the food is cooked first thing in the morning.
"Great stay, modern, spacious, comfortable place."
Great stay! Everything was just as needed. The room was spacious, comfortable and stylish, staff were friendly and welcoming. Room seemed to have been fairly recently refurbished although the staff tell me this was now a couple of years ago, it was very modern, with plenty of USB outlets etc. It's in a fairly nice quiet spot, I heard very little noise inside or out while I was there. Breakfast was very nice too, freshly cooked to order with a continental breakfast selection to enjoy while you wait, not bad value either.
"Terrible, would not recommend"
This weekend we booked a two night stay with you (booking ref AMY7157908), celebrating a 50th birthday and a 25th wedding anniversary at the game fair at Ragley Hall. We chose to stay with Premier Inn because we’ve always had a good stay with excellent service, however the stay we had was totally opposite. I couldn’t book premier plus as there were none available which isn’t a problem I know I was quite late booking, the fan in the room didn’t work so I asked for a replacement at reception and the gentleman swapped it for us. The room was still overheating so I asked for a second fan but was told no, which resulted in a terrible nights sleep both nights for myself and my husband. Both mornings the breakfast service was terrible, no cutlery, no plates, no cups, the coffee machine not working were just a few problems.  The hot breakfast needs working on! All items were empty, then a bowl of mushrooms would be brought out, 5 minutes later some beans, 10 minutes later a plate of sausages, then 10 minutes after that some bacon, there were so many people waiting for hot breakfast it went as soon as it was brought out!  I felt so sorry for the lady working the breakfast shift (I think she was called Charlotte) she tried so hard for everyone but she needed more staff. Surely you know how many breakfasts are booked it so you know how busy it’s going to be. The lady on reception came in to help but gave me a telling off for not booking a time for breakfast although no one told me I had to, I found her rather rude although I know she was busy. Overall a very disappointing stay, and will probably stay elsewhere in future.
"Restaurant Shocking!"
Hotel ok. Restaurant is shocking! It only caters for PI guests as it was previously a Beefeater. It’s run on shoestring staff that are not trained and clearly under pressure trying to cater for just 6 tables for the evening meals service. On my visit a waitress was rushing around but not being very productive, telling guests that had pre booked tables that there weren’t any available, but not providing any answers to satisfy the customers needs, Tracey I believe as this was her name badge. It seemed the other waitress was new and clearly had not been trained properly as she looked lost, uncomfortable and left to deal with complaining customers (not fair on her whatsoever!). Customers around me were either standing around waiting to be seen to, or complaining about the food or length of time waiting for it. When my food eventually arrived it was plonked on the table, I wasn’t asked if I wanted any sauces or vinegar, I had to ask for it myself. Premier Inn, at least have the courtesy to invest in quality training for your employees and managers and appreciate that your team members are trying their best! Unbelievable 👎
