Coventry South (A45) hotel

We stayed here as were visiting family and eating at the miller and carter next door. Everytime we stay it gets more run down and it really needs a revamp. Carpets are worn and stained, wood has been touched up with paint but need filling first. I absolutely hate shower curtains and thos reinforced that opinion when they stick to you as you shower. There was no armchair so having to sit on the bed really hurt my back over two days. I dont think we will stay again unless we here they have had a revamp. Once upon a time it was the staff that made a difference to this hotel but there was literally the minimum interaction from them, just hello and goodbye apart from the room cleaner who was really friendly when we excited our room.

We ate breakfast here for 3 mornings after we were told a the restaurant in a nearby premier inn was shut for the duration of our stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Excellent service with regards to my nut allergy. We will definitely look to book here when we stay in the area again.

Great location. Perfect night for me. I arrived late night and the staff was very king and room was perfect for me to sleep. I had all what I needed in this too.

Our recent booking involved multiple rooms, and the overall standard of cleanliness and safety was completely unacceptable. The conditions were severe enough that one member of our team was unable to stay and had to book alternative accommodation. Their room was not only dirty, but the lock on the interconnecting door was insufficient and left unlocked, presenting a clear safety concern. Additionally, the window was nearly impossible to close properly. The second room was equally poor: the carpets were heavily stained, and a strong, overpowering odor of urine originating from the bathroom filled the entire room.

Shocking experience. Whilst clean the facilities were very old and shabby. The room was less than basic with none of the standard requirements ie water glasses, tissues. The bathroom felt and smelt like a hospital bathroom. The bed was not comfortable. The only reason we stayed was because it was clean and we had a quick turnaround.
