Coventry East (M6,Jct2) hotel

As a wheelchair user, Premier Inn is my goto as I can generally be confident that their adapted rooms will meet my needs and the rooms represent good value. However, on this occasion I was disappointed. Although I was travelling for work and my employer was picking up my bill, I'm still conscious of value for money and feel that £188 for 1 nights accommodation in a standard (adapted) Premier Inn room in Midlands, does not represent good value. Additionally, having selected a wetroom option for my adapted room, the shower seat was much smaller than other Premier Inn's that I've stayed at and it was further restricted by a grab rail positioned immediately behind the seat and therefore prevented me from fully sitting on the seat, placing me at risk of a fall. In the Bedroom itself, there were no power points around the bed which meant that I had to charge my phone and set my alarm at the desk before transferring to the bed. Breakfast meanwhile was advertised at freshly cooked instead of the usual buffet. However, notwithstanding that £11.99 for a Premier Inn cooked Breakfast and £9.99 for a continental breakfast isn't good value, I was extremely disappointed that poached eggs to order weren't available.

The staff here are amazing from check in to over in the restaurant I arrived early and Hannah on reception let me check in as my room was ready. The hotel is abit dated but was told the hotel is getting a refurb soon. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable suited my needs. Would stay here again

DO NOT stay here if you have a work van. The night we stayed, most vans in the car park got broken into. The thieves only stopped when an alarm went off & they got disturbed. All captured on CCTV, the thieves don’t care, we were told that this is a regular occurrence. Guessing this is the reason that the hotel was SO cheap and that it was very quiet with few guests. Staff were excellent, welcoming and friendly and to be honest, the only positive about this hotel. It is a very old, outdated Premier Inn that is very tired and is in great need of refurbishment. Please AVOID if you have a work van! We were also told that the thieves hit here, the Hilton, the Holiday Inn and the nearby Industrial Estate so AVOID this area!

Premier inn as always delivers. Clean and comfortable. An excellently comfortable bed as always and a good shower. Breakfast was very good as I always get from Premier Inn. Big shout out to the lady in reception Thursday 20th August in the evening- she was lovely. She noticed my bag and chatted about the event I am attending. Also the lady serving breakfast on Friday 21st August- so friendly and obliging.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Very family friendly. Both Jill and Jackie in the hotel and restaurant went above and beyond to make sure our stay was very comfortable
