A lovely hotel with outstanding service A hotel I can wholeheartedly recommend. It is located in a quiet area, has very comfortable mattresses, an excellent breakfast, and, above all, outstanding and very attentive service. Sharisse is the always cheerful heart and soul of the hotel, both at breakfast and at reception. She is incredibly helpful and always there to assist with any small or larger issue that may come up during your stay. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely be happy to return.

Location was great, we were visiting Cadbury world and Birmingham centre. 5 minutes walk to entertainment and restaurant complex, which we ended up taking advantage of due to the heat. Staff at check-in were friendly and efficient, but never saw anyone else until morning, when a lady who looked like she was a guest was muttering under her breath at us near the water dispenser and looking at me in disgust as I got water for the children. This lady then produced her key card and went behind reception, still muttering and then walked off again. The room was a decent size and clean but the heat was unbearable. No air con. There was a fan left in the room but it was disgusting, filthy, full of grime and dust. Unusable. I brought my own oat milk, as the hotel doesn't usually have this available, and it was curdled within an hour of getting into our room. All of the chocolate that we had recieved/purchased st Cadbury world melted within minutes and we could not enjoy it during our stay. Breakfast in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel was fantastic. Staff there were very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant itself was under renovation, I think, as parts were cordoned off and 'The Ladies' was out of order... Overall a pleasant stay, price reflects amenities available.

We had a decent stay at this hotel which doesn't have air conditioning as it states, it was during a very hot spell so we had 2 fans in our family room. The hotel was understaffed and would have been given 3 stars if it wasn't for exceptional service from Holly P who did everything possible. She is a credit to the industry and this hotel is lucky to employ her.
