"Excellent staff and accommodation."
Brilliant service from start to finish. The staff made the trip extra special, especially Billy who was very friendly and catered to everyone. He made us feel very comfortable as we were away due to a family funeral, he made our stay feel so welcoming.

"Great stay, with just one minor hiccup!"
Our room was nice, clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent, and the bedding was perfectly clean and tidy, ensuring my wife and I had a great night's sleep đ´.
âThe room amenities were exactly what we neededâthere was a kettle with plenty of tea and coffee for both of us, alongside reliable free WiFi and a decent TV.
âThe only downside to our stay was finding a bunch of hair left in the bathtub. Aside from that housekeeping oversight, it was a lovely stay and we would definitely return.

"Disappointing Stay â Poor Room Standards and Customer Service"
I stayed at this Premier Inn for two nights with my family and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from start to finish.
On arrival, the first room we were allocated had a strong damp, unpleasant smell that made it unsuitable to stay in. The odour was overwhelming enough that we requested to be moved immediately. While the hotel did move us to another room, this does not change the fact that the original room should not have been allocated to guests in that condition.
Unfortunately, the second room also had several issues. The carpet was heavily stained, which gave the room a dirty and poorly maintained appearance. I took photographs of the stains and showed them to the receptionist when raising my concerns.
The air conditioning in the second room repeatedly switched on and off before reaching the selected temperature, making it difficult to keep the room comfortable during the night. We reported this to reception the following morning, as it would have been unreasonable to wake young children in the middle of the night to report the issue.
The most concerning incident occurred on the morning we checked out. While my daughter was in the shower, the shower curtain pole, which appeared to have been fitted incorrectly and was already hanging loose, fell and struck her on the head. Thankfully she was not seriously injured, but it was a frightening experience. I reported the incident to reception before we left the hotel. Despite this, no accident or incident report was completed by staff, which I found unacceptable.
After our stay, I raised all of these concerns with Premier Innâs Guest Relations team and provided photographs of the stained carpet and the loose curtain pole. Despite this evidence, I was informed that there was no record of several issues being reported and that no compensation would be offered. I was disappointed that the absence of an internal record appeared to outweigh the concerns that I had raised with staff during our stay.
I have stayed with Premier Inn many times before and have generally had positive experiences, which made this stay particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, the condition of the rooms and the way my complaint was handled fell well below the standard I have come to expect.
Based on this experience, I would not stay at this hotel again.
