"The worst premier inn we have ever stayed in."
The worst premier inn we have ever stayed at. It was absolutey freezing cold both in the rooms and bar/ restraunt areas. We told the staff but it went unheard. It was warmer outside than in the hotel!
"Broken lift, charmless staff"
We came to stay overnight before an early flight. We were unable to check in electronically and waited for nearly ten minutes due to a lack of available staff. There was no apology for the wait and we were advised that the lift was out of order (and had been for two weeks whilst a part was made) and available rooms were on the third floor. We then had to carry two 23kg suitcases up several flights of staff. When asked how we were to complain I was advised to take it up with Holiday Extras as premier inn ‘won’t do a refund so there’s no point contacting them’. Staff came across as completely disinterested. That plus a parking fee of £15 - I suggest you go elsewhere.
"Great stay!"
Great stay at premier inn NEC, bed really comfy, great facilities, staff very friendly and easy to talk to. Love the taxi call at the front door. Lounge area looked amazing a bit tired to use it on our stay but we did grab a drink which the staff were really lovely on the bar. Breakfast was lovely, set us up for the day! Really great stay and would happily go back!
"Dated"
Great staff, great location, rooms very dated, carpets need replacing hotel needs redecorating, Ultimate Wifi 7mbps .. very slow. 1st room smelt of vapes, 2nd room much better but still dated.
"Great for the short run airport car park."
2nd time here, last time we weren't informed of major renovation work. But at least this time there is a functional bar and restaurant. However not informed once again that the lifts are not working, spoke to a member of staff who informed us that they haven't been working for 6 weeks! Surely a company this big can get it sorted in a couple of days at worst! Not great when you are on the top floor with all of your luggage!
