"Premier Inn going above and beyond 🙌"
We stayed here before an early morning flight and the facilities and room were representative of the usual excellent Premier Inn quality in terms of comfy bed, air con and bathroom. The price was the best around for an airport stay, and well worth a £5 Uber from the train station each way to catch the air train to the airport. This only took 5 minutes. Check in was easy online meaning you could pick up your key card upon arrival by scanning a QR code. There was a lively bar and restaurant downstairs offering a selection of reasonably priced food and drink. Upon arriving on holiday I realised I had left something small in the room. The hotel was excellent and very receptive to my emails enquiring if it had been found. Even better was their agreement to post it back to me in return for paying a small fee for Royal Mail to collect and send it. I received it safely back today and am overjoyed with the kindness and customer service shown. Highly recommended and we will be back for future trips from Birmingham airport.

Arrived before check-in so decided on having a late lunch. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, toastie and skin on chips. Pizza was like a supermarket value pizza with pepperoni blonked on top and was under cooked,had to be sent back. Toasties was cheese and tomato on toast with another piece of toast on top. Chips half cooked aswell. Shocking food. On the other hand the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok.

Quiet rooms (apart from noisy footseps above us on occasions) with enough space for a family, and good location for driving to the NEC. We were overlooking the entrance, which we were worried would be noisy, but the windows blocked any noise. The aircon was quiet, but worked well being 32c+ outside, it kept us cool, but you do need to leave it running to get to temperature. Easy check-in and out process. It's a shame they can't offer free parking for hotel guests - and direct access to walk to the NEC (apparently you have to go through a fence at the back!). Breakfast was very good (although coffee wasn't to our taste). We had an evening meal at the social and the poor waitress was run off her feet. The food coming out of the kitchen was very very slow and my sister had almost finished her meal before my son & I got ours. They also bought out our deserts before we'd even had our main meals! Deal on 2-4-1 cocktails is good, but a shame the cocktails have to be the same. Rooms could use some TLC, but fair for the price. We would stay again.
"Excellent service for concert goers"
Extremely friendly staff, was a stay for a concert in Birmingham, staff were extremely welcoming and very very helpful. The bedding was very comfortable as always in any premier inn I have stayed in. Would definitely stay in here again.
"disappointed visit"
I stayed at this hotel to attend a family funeral i have stayed in a lot of Premier but was very disappointed with this one. the building looked tired and in need of repair the paint was flaking and the net curtains looked dirty. there were a lot of weeds in the car park and by reception. the room was dark and the weeds had grown over the window ledge and half way up the window. the room was cold. whenever I went to reception there was no one there always had to ring the buzzer. when going down to breakfast there were no one to check in with I had to go and find a member of staff. not a good visit at all
