"Crap "Ultimate" Wifi is Killing Premier Inn"
"Ultimate Wifi" is killing this chain for me. Since introducing a £5 charge for Ultimate Wifi the free wifi has been deliberately rendered unusable. I have had problems with the ultimate wifi every time I have used it. The help line is abysmal. It doesn't allow you to queue. It says they are busy helping other people and to call back later and hangs up on you. It also thanks you for patience - which of course you have run out of. I use Premier Inn a lot but have started to look elsewhere as the first hour of every stay (at least) is spent messing about trying to get online and I begrudge paying separately for internet in the first place. Prices are going up and quality down. we got given a free breakfast but that was crap too - the restaurant was empty and everything was dried up tasted as if it had been out for ages. Poor.
"Great experience- super clean and friendly. Amazingly central location"
Stayed here for 2 nights during as attending a weekend with friends in the City Centre. Super clean facilities. Our room was on the 6th floor and actually surprisingly quiet for the centre of town. Helpful staff and very friendly. Whole hotel was spotless. Felt very safe and had door security after a certain time. Great location and able to store luggage on last day for a donation to charity. Would recommend. Incredibly close to New Street Station.
"Hotel felt safe and comfortable"
A very comfortable room. The hotel felt safe for a woman on her own. Staff were friendly. It's perfectly positioned to visit the cathedral and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Easy walk from the Birmingham New Street Station too. I'd stay again.
"Brilliant. Rajj is a belter"
I never write reviews but felt obliged. Met Rajj and Eve on arrival and they are a credit to the company. Really nice people. I personally fell in love with Rajj (jarr backwards). She had beautiful eyes and was very personable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
"Excellent location and staff"
Have been staying at this hotel for the past 10 years with my family when we visit Birmingham. The location is fantastic and Bar + Block has the best evening meal & breakfast. A special shout out this visit to Pauline & Sharon on reception who can’t do enough for you, great with the kids and a great double act. Extra special mention to Wade at breakfast. My mother has recently been diagnosed coeliac and the care & attention that went to ensuring not only her food but also the crockery & cutlery wasn’t contaminated was exceptional.
