"Lovely hotel"

I've stayed here before and will stay again. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are very comfortable and the bed is super comfortable! Air conditioning works well and the windows open enough to let a good bit of air in. Food isn't great. The breakfast seems to have been sitting there a while (rubbery eggs and sausages hard to cut). I had the burger for dinner and it wasn't nice at all.

Premier Inns used to be of a consistently high quality and level of service, but have come slightly inconsistent over the last few years, due to IMO that staff not being given the tools to do the job as well as they want to do so, more room /bed refreshes , better wifi.. It is usually never the staff , they can only do what they can do with the tools/time/resources given, Then staff I have never really been able to fault , but you sometimes notice a more reactive than proactive behaviour. Any way to this branch, the staff were excellent proactive and the vibe was very positive , kudos to the staff and the local management . Tone is set at top down in my experience. Breakfast was of high quality, , promptly refilled without asking service again excellent . Dining area kept at a high standard.. I would recommend this branch as a benchmark for customer service experience.

Great location, friendly & helpful staff. Right in the centre of Birmingham, the location couldn't be any better. Decent rooms, comfortable beds and quiet for a city centre location. Good quality breakfast.

"Perfect arrival"

We arrived extremely early in desperate need of a check-in, and the staff treated us like royalty. Huge thanks to the team who looked after us—getting into our room early was a lifesaver after an exhausting overnight journey. The room was spotless, and the service was effortlessly proactive; within ten minutes of stepping inside, extra towels were delivered without us even having to ask.
