"Absolute life saver!"
We booked this room at the last minute due to The Cube hotel having broken air conditioning. We needed to find something quickly and staff at Premier Inn were so accommodating. They found us three rooms next to each other and, most importantly, the air conditioning was working and I had a lovely, cool nights sleep.
"It was okay, but..."
My room was clean and spacious, but it could do with an armchair to complete the living room vibe. It included a plasticy, low grade TV which had to be coaxed into action, but I wasn't too bothered about that. The complimentary snacks would have been nice, had they existed. I'm British! Where were my custard creams? Someone is on an efficiency drive. One involving a small, hinged perspex box containing a meagre selection of beverages. Breakfast was not improved by the caffeinated soundtrack,. including 'Pump Up The Jam' and 'Come On Eileen'. Give me real jam, too-loo-rye-ay. My scrambled eggs contained enough salt to slay an adult bison, so I didn't eat them, though some of it was okay, apart from the vaguely cremated black pudding, which tasted like Satan's toenails. The staff were lovely, but then, that's what Brum does well. It just isn't a good cook. I'll be back, because it's conveniently located and good enough, but it could be better.
"Premier Inn listens, Tommy was great!"
Tommy came to help me with an issue with my rooms air con being quite loud, he quickly made sure I was upgraded to a much nicer room with working air con and was very attentive to my needs despite it being quite early in the morning. Service is fantastic and I did genuinely feel attended to
"Great service"
We always have a great experience with the premier inn , nothing is too much trouble. We had great service and expertise, especially , from Raji and Pauline who helped us with another booking. Great work ladies. We look forward to visiting again in the future
"Convenient stay for meet up with friends"
The hotel doesn’t look great from the outside but don’t let that put you off! The staff were friendly and helpful and check in was straightforward. My room was quite small but fine for what I needed. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The only minor complaint was the water pressure in the shower which was pretty non existent … but I managed, it wasn’t a big problem. I was a bit worried it would be very noisy as the hotel is in the city centre, but it was fine. Excellent location for restaurants, bars etc and also close to the station. I would definitely stay here again.
