Birmingham City Centre (New St Station) hotel

Perfect location as we were near the station and as well as coming into Birmingham by train, we utilised the train station to go to Moseley Folk Festival. I went with my daughter. We enjoyed a wander to the nearby shops on the Saturday. Breakfast on Saturday was great and plentiful. Staff that morning were brilliant. Credit to the company. They went out of their way to be polite, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and would use this Premier Inn again if back in Birmingham.

Wow, what can I say, the staff have been amazing!! I brought my daughter for her 18th birthday and they have gone above and beyond making her feel special. They are so welcoming and kind. She has had an amazing night. Having staff like this is such an assest to a business. I hope they realise how good they are!

Drew was the young lady who gave us the card to write a review if we wanted to; she was lovely, very smiley, chatty, and helped us when we needed it. The other person to mention whom didn’t ask for us to write a review because I guess he may be of that vain that he’s just doing his job! However we’ve been to this hotel several times and it had always been my intention to write…..he’s the gentleman who serves breakfasts on a Friday…..he’s attentive to everyone, always very welcoming and is juggling all things as he goes…… how are we?; another couple arrive, ‘be with you as soon as I can’……and another table, yes, your toast is on it’s way, clearing tables, adding a fork here, a spoon there, always keeping everything to a high standard …….he’s always a pleasure to meet and even more so to watch as he goes about his daily busyness and we are just sorry that we never know his name however as mentioned earlier, I’m sure that he’ll say, he doesn’t need the credit when he’s doing what he’s paid to and in my eyes, that’s where credit is due and I do hope that his manager/s and Premier Inn appreciate what a gem they have in them! Thank you! X

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. It really surprised me. As someone who occasionally travels to Birmingham, the location did worry me a little bit as I know the area can be quite busy and at times can feel a bit unsafe. However, there was rarely any trouble when I was entering and exiting in the hotel and it was enclosed proximity to New Street Station so there was regular security nearby which helped me feel a little bit safer as I travelled alone. In terms of the hotel itself, it was really really nice. The lady at the front desk was really kind and so helpful. She talked me through the check in process and also asked about my day, which for me is something that I've not really experienced when checking into a hotel so it was quite refreshing. It really felt like they cared about you and were very welcoming of you as well. The rooms were absolutely incredible. I stayed on the 6th floor. My room was located very close to the lift which was very handy. The room was spacious. It's one of probably the biggest hotel rooms I've stayed in. It was spotless. The room did have a small table where I could sit and had a great view of the Birmingham skyline. The room also had a handy night light for the bathroom which I thought was a really great touch. Honestly I had a very pleasant stay. I can't comment on any of the food as did not eat at the hotel but I I genuinely had an amazing experience and I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
