"Too hot"
The staff at the hotel were great. We really appreciated the iced water in reception, fans in rooms and sheets instead of duvets.
However the hotel badly needs air con. It was 28 outside and 27 inside when we arrived. Because the windows only open a crack, by morning even though the outside temp had fallen to 15, it was 28.5 inside. Just awful and muggy. And this was from just a few days of warm weather, not an enduring heat wave. The building is just retaining all its heat because there is no air flow. They either need to install air con or let you properly open windows.
My understanding is that no family rooms in any premier inns have air con. So I won’t be staying in one again, May to September since we are now more prone to extreme weather. Apparently only premier plus rooms have air con, which are doubles.

"Friendly, efficient and professional."
The hotel is quiet and well-run. Room clean and spacious. Food menu significantly upgraded since last year; staff member Jaspreed made a special effort tonadd flavour to standard Caeser salad, demonstrating excellent customer focus.

"A great hotel with lovely staff and good food."
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good and the room was great. The fan in the room was much appreciated in the hot weather we’ve had this weekend! The bars of Cadbury dairy milk left in the room were also a lovely touch!
