"No air con was not ideal in this hot summer"
Stayed here the night before the European Athletics Championships marathon race around the city centre. Hotel is centrally located. Everything is within walking distance. Parking was good - as others have said, not much discount provided for hotel guests
Hotel has NO air con. It was HOT. Hotel did provide a good fan and did advise that we could request more fans if required. Thankfully I had my own fan too anyway. It was unusually extremely warm, however summers are now due to be getting warmer. In hindsight, had I known there was no air con then I would have booked a different hotel for a summer stay for a family of 4 in 1 room. Surprisingly though, we did sleep reasonably well but in future I will always be checking the status of air con in any hotel I book for summer bookings

"Pleasant stay at Premier Inn"
Located in the city centre, very close to the train station
Atmosphere was good, quiet place to sleep
Bed was comfortable and clean to sleep in
Room provided was spacious, even compared to other hotels I've stayed in the past throughout the UK
Parking was OK, it's tight and availability isn't the best. It does cost quite a bit, and discount isn't much to be honest
Staff are kind and professional throughout but can't say anyone goes above and beyond

"Avoid in hot weather"
As a weekly business traveller for 30 years this Premier Inn is by head and shoulders in hot weather a candidate for one of the worst sites in UK . I’d like to state the staff were friendly and the room clean but the lack on air conditioning and loud music throughout the night made this one of the worst I’ve experienced in a premier inn hotel. In hot weather this is a site to be avoided

"Great location but no AC so impossible to sleep"
Brilliantly located great value super service and staff but let down by having no air conditioning or adequate ventilation. The Windows only opened an inch and even with the supplied fan it was impossible to sleep well as the room never got under 85 degrees F. On each of our three nights stay

"Birthday weekend treat"
We stayed here whilst visiting Sea Life and Lego Discovery Centre near by. The hotel was clean and rooms just what we needed. The lady on reception when we arrived and the morning we left was so friendly and helpful (saved us paying early entry as our adjoining rooms wouldn't be ready till later which was fine). We didn't have evening meal but breakfast was nice and hot and all buffet which we prefer. Walking distance to the above attractions and Brindley Place. You do need to pay for parking which is about £15/17 a day, but expected when this close to city centre.
