    "Average"
The room was very hot with no air con available, I also had to shut the window during the night which made it hotter, but with all the noise from people coming in and out I had no choice as me and my 2 children couldn't sleep for the noise. It also sounded like a herd of elephants in the room above for a good 45 mins at 6.30 in the morning, no idea how many times you can walk back and forth in a small room. The breakfast was luke warm on the first day and we was there before 9am so not very enjoyable. Good location to get to where needed, but expensive for parking in the area.
    "Not great"
Stale water in reception with dirty glasses. Room was not clean, toilet dirty and not flushed ! Only 1 shower towel in room
"Charmless & aggressive security guard leaves sour taste."
No air-con, so not ideal in summer. Seriously in need of a refit throughout hotel. Accosted by security on returning to hotel, who aggressively demanded my name & room number, despite needing a room key to get into the hotel & then into the rooms, so entirely unnecessary. I get they might feel the need for security, but you shouldn't be interrogated to access your room. Have to commend the check-in person though, very friendly.
    "Great hotel. Excellent staff."
Well positioned hotel on the canal side. Staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was lovely in a room by the canal. Room had everything you could need except for AC. We had a fan that helped. This is the only reason they lost a star. We had a lovely room overlooking the canal. However, we would return. I would recommend this hotel. Great shops and restaurants nearby.
    "Disappointing"
No problems on arrival, no parking but plenty of local car parks, Fiveways parking was £9.50 for 24hrs. The room was very out dated in need of freshening up,carpets need a good clean as well as the halls etc. Woken up early as it was very noisy outside with deliveries etc. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was very nice. Not worth the £140 per night though
