    "Very friendly staff."
Over all this was a great hotel in it's price range. We thought twice about booking after a bad experience at Southampton city centre hotel but this was much better. All of the staff we polite and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Birmingham.
    "Friendly staff"
Such friendly staff especially Bernie. Man on Reception made us coffee with a snack while we waited for our rooms to be ready
    "A great weekend."
We were especially impressed by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant overlooking the canal was great and served great food. One of our family members had accessibility issues and was given a large room with an accessible bathroom. Overall we had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed our stay very much.
    "10/10 would stay again!"
10/10 stay, manager was so welcoming and went above and beyond. Lovely and quiet hotel even with it being fully booked! Brilliant location, stayed for a concert at the utilia arena which was just a short walk away, normally I stay on broad street but I’m so glad I tried somewhere different this time as it’s away from all the noise. Perfect location being situated halfway between the train station and arena but also lots of car parks close by if needed. Will be recommending this hotel to others!
    "A poor premier inn"
I've stayed in better hostels. It is terrible value for money. I wasn't expecting greatness for a city centre hotel but this was pretty bad by premier inn standards. Firstly there is no parking. The hotel is in desperate need of an update. The rooms were tiny. Bath was stained. Very little water pressure, we were on the 4th floor. The linens were quite worn but they were clean. There was quite a bit of noise from outside even with the windows closed. So don't expect a great night sleep. The staff were friendly but very rarely seen. You have to ring a doorbell at reception for attention and they actually employ a dooman at the weekend. All of this is fine for me I don't expect miracles but for 2 nights (Sat&Sun) I'd expect to pay £100 max not £190!
