Birmingham City - Aston hotel

Car park is a good size and we found parking easily at 9pm. Reception staff were very helpful, and on hand to help with check-in as app would not allow check-in. Lift is very accessible albeit the walk to the family rooms is through some very long Shining-style corridors. Room was very clean, bathroom was immaculate. AC was blasting when we entered the room and took a while to settle back to room temperature. If you’re not a fan of AC, inform before your stay. No facilities provided in the room so we went down to reception to collect cutlery, napkins and ketchup bottle for uber eats in room. Many rooms ordered takeaway so they should provide eating facilities in the room to maintain cleanliness. No amenities in the room so we had to go to the local Tesco as we’d forgotten toothpaste. Wasnt a long walk but also picked up bottled water as also not provided in room or reception. Reception is very busy at all times, definitely a nightlife area. Reception staff were so helpful and lovely, room was perfectly adequate and the sleep was lovely.

Great hotel and brilliant staff- only let down with premier inn is the lack of ability to describe room availability at hotel.. was expecting a walk in shower and this hotel had none

I visited this Premier Inn for business purposes and was seriously impressed by how they handled my food allergy. Charlaine took my order and was incredible with how she handled it. From wiping the table, informing the kitchen and supplying my own cutlery separate from my tables, I truly felt looked after and as if it was safe to eat, which is something I don’t experience often. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe whilst eating. I normally have a lot of anxiety with eating out but felt really I could trust the service here. She is an absolute credit to your team.

Visiting from London and had a lovely experience. The young man on the kitchen staff was so helpful letting us borrow cutlery and plates for our takeaway and the young lady even gave us tap water with ice. Excellent service and would highly recommend.
