"Lovely staff, but pack plenty of patience!"
While the staff were friendly and the hotel itself was clean and tidy, the entire venue felt like it was running on "snail time." Dinner at the Beefeater was an endurance sport, where a basic two-course meal took a full two hours to arrive. Unfortunately, morning brought more of the same, as waiting for breakfast tacked an extra 45 minutes onto our schedule, even though the food was okay once it arrived. For future guests, be prepared to haul your bags up the stairs as there is no lift to the second floor, and pack layers because the bedroom heater has a mind of its own and refuses to do what it's told. It is a lovely place with great people, but the service and amenities desperately need a bit of a tune-up.

"Great stay"
The warm welcome, comfort and cleanliness of this hotel is exceptional.
All of the staff went above and beyond, especially to assist my elderly mother who was staying to attend a funeral nearby. They were wonderful with her.
I have never stayed in a Premier Inn previously and can’t believe how great our stay was and will have no hesitation in staying again.
The hotel is quiet, it’s easy to park and the rooms are comfortable with more than ample tea, coffee, towels etc. The bed was very comfortable, and the linen felt fresh and possibly new.
Breakfast was excellent, with a continental style buffet and all hot food cooked to order.

"Welcoming"
We were attending a show at the NEC, so the location was good, about 10minutes away by car ( not allowing for the M42 being closed). The staff were helpful and welcoming. The room was nice and clean (unlike our holiday caravan :( ).
The bed was quite high, but very comfortable.
The food at breakfast was cooked well and tasty with plenty of options. This one was slightly different to other Premier Inn's we have been to, in that the hot food was not 'buffet style', but cooked to order. I suppose to save wastage, which makes sense, as I hate wasting food myself.
All in all, a lovely hotel with friendly staff and good service. Having a fuel garage opposite is handy too. If we visit the NEC again for a late show, we will definitely come again.

"Not all that great"
We stayed here over night ready to attend a conference at the NEC the following day.
Location is great, really close to the NEC, airport, and easy to get to either locations.
It’s a bit tired, the Beefeater next door was giving abandoned vibes so we didn’t go there for dinner (ye olde Saracen’s head nearby was excellent!)
Our room was ground floor, the room above had incredibly thin flooring and very very creaky! We heard every footstep, nice and early which woke us up.
The mattress was very uncomfortable, which is a shame as premier inn usually have very comfy beds. This one had 2 dips either side from multiple previous users. I woke at 2 then 4 am with incredibly stiff and achy muscles, needing a good stretch and walk around to ease the discomfort!
The bathroom floor needed a good clean as it was grubby all around the edges and the towel rail was more rust than chrome. Avoid room 8!
