"Good night's sleep. Helpful staff"
Staff were extremely helpful and I had a good night's sleep. Hotel was clean, if starting to look a little tired in places. Would stay again if in the area.
"Well located comfortable hotel"
This hotel is lovely, really well located, in a quiet area and easily accessible. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The premier plus room was really well furnished and the bed was so comfy. The only downsides were that the WiFi didn’t work for me at all really, it said connected but wouldn’t load anything. I’m guessing they just need more booster spots for the higher floors. We were staying here for the F1 at Silverstone, and it was well located for the park and ride but the hotel’s car park wasn’t big enough to accommodate everyone. People were parked on grass and pavements by the end of the night. The road it’s situated on has loads of space for parking but is all double yellow lines because it’s a residential area. We got a space fine when we arrived but it was tricky over the weekend. Plenty of people also worked across two spaces which meant nobody else could use them, the spaces were big so there’s was no need. The hotel need a way of contacting these people and telling them to park properly! I wouldn’t mark the hotel down for this though, we had a great time there, it’s just something for them to think about moving forward.
"Gone downhill"
We've stayed here several times in the last few years even though COVID and I can honestly say it's the worst experience we ever had. You now have to pay for parking but that doesn't guarantee you a space so if you leave the hotel and come back later you have to park on the verge which apparently you're not supposed to do. Self check-in wasn't working and we had to buzz for a member of staff who didn't seem overly happy she had to check us in. We used to be greeted with a smile. Commented that we hoped we weren't on the ground floor to be told we should have rang them to make sure we got a room where we wanted. What happened to the request box when booking? Had a reasonable night's sleep apart from room doors closing loudly and banging in corridors. Bathroom was clean but could really do with black mould on shower curtain and tiles dealing with. Breakfast lack of staff one young girl doing everything. (Not sure where the other staff went) Lack of clean plates (one chap had his hot breakfast in a bowl) told it'll be a long wait for clean hot plates use small ones instead which of course soon ran out also. Not great. This used to be a good place to stay with friendly welcoming staff. It's gone downhill drastically this time.
"Disappointing - Not the best Premier Inn!!"
This is a Premier Inn run on a shoe string budget. The staff are pleasant but the hotel appears to be understaffed. On arrival at the hotel the restaurant was unavailable due to the absence of a chef so we had to go into Warwick town centre for something to eat. My reservation was for 2 rooms one of which was a twin room. This turned out to be an interconnecting room with a non family guest where the sound insulation was very poor. You need to pay to park your car at the hotel but there are insufficient car spaces for all the guests and not helped by inconsiderate guests parking across 2 spaces. The rooms are not cleaned unless you request for the room to be cleaned. On arrival we requested that our room be cleaned. We were not expecting too much just make the bed and put some fresh towels in. This was never done. I have stayed at other Premier Inns on business but this is a poor hotel run on a shoe string budget!!
"No chef out the way if you don't have a car stay close in town ,"
The bar was shut due to the chef not turning up ! And we didn't have a car which made it extra hard and expensive should of paid more to stay in town we was going to the thai festival which cost some much much having to order takeaways to the hotel and taxis into town no buses so out the way and was told to go to the pub down the road lol
