"Warrick Premier Inn horror show"
On arrival after paying for an early Check in we were then told their was no restaurant services due to lack of staff. We then told despite being a blistering hot day there was no bar service either. We were advised to go into town to get food and returned to find there was still no bar service again due to lack of staff. Which after insisting on our part was then installed. Before accessing our room we were told if we wanted more towels we should find a member of the house keeping staff and request them as the room despite being booked a month in advance, had only been set for one person. After our evening trip Into town we returned to the hotel and the bar were we purchased the worst and most flat beer I have ever had. This was duly returned. The morning continued in the same vein when we told there was no bacon the eggs would be a couple of minutes, which turned out to be 15 and the croissants would be a further 35 minutes. In total a stay more befitting of Faulty Towers or a Jeremy Beadle sketch. WI would urge anyone thinking of staying here to enquire as to what they can actually expect when they arrive in respect of service and provisions. I for one wouldn't ever contemplate using this facility ever again
"Complaint"
Breakfast was awful no bacon no croissant no coffee no serving spoons staff rude. Toilets smelt like sewers. Not enough food for everyone. Queued for half an hour for plates
"Good night's sleep. Helpful staff"
Staff were extremely helpful and I had a good night's sleep. Hotel was clean, if starting to look a little tired in places. Would stay again if in the area.
"Well located comfortable hotel"
This hotel is lovely, really well located, in a quiet area and easily accessible. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The premier plus room was really well furnished and the bed was so comfy. The only downsides were that the WiFi didn’t work for me at all really, it said connected but wouldn’t load anything. I’m guessing they just need more booster spots for the higher floors. We were staying here for the F1 at Silverstone, and it was well located for the park and ride but the hotel’s car park wasn’t big enough to accommodate everyone. People were parked on grass and pavements by the end of the night. The road it’s situated on has loads of space for parking but is all double yellow lines because it’s a residential area. We got a space fine when we arrived but it was tricky over the weekend. Plenty of people also worked across two spaces which meant nobody else could use them, the spaces were big so there’s was no need. The hotel need a way of contacting these people and telling them to park properly! I wouldn’t mark the hotel down for this though, we had a great time there, it’s just something for them to think about moving forward.
"Gone downhill"
We've stayed here several times in the last few years even though COVID and I can honestly say it's the worst experience we ever had. You now have to pay for parking but that doesn't guarantee you a space so if you leave the hotel and come back later you have to park on the verge which apparently you're not supposed to do. Self check-in wasn't working and we had to buzz for a member of staff who didn't seem overly happy she had to check us in. We used to be greeted with a smile. Commented that we hoped we weren't on the ground floor to be told we should have rang them to make sure we got a room where we wanted. What happened to the request box when booking? Had a reasonable night's sleep apart from room doors closing loudly and banging in corridors. Bathroom was clean but could really do with black mould on shower curtain and tiles dealing with. Breakfast lack of staff one young girl doing everything. (Not sure where the other staff went) Lack of clean plates (one chap had his hot breakfast in a bowl) told it'll be a long wait for clean hot plates use small ones instead which of course soon ran out also. Not great. This used to be a good place to stay with friendly welcoming staff. It's gone downhill drastically this time.
