Warwick hotel

Lovely little 2 day layover. Hotel was exactly as it needed to be however Kayleigh the receptionist/bartender/queen of the show. She was helpful with everything, full of enthusiasm and energy and just a cracker of a lady. One of those people who the hotel wouldn’t be the same if it wasn’t for her.

Having stayed here before, we knew the location was ideal for several family day trips we had in the area. Rooms and cleanliness is where it went wrong, this visit, which is disappointing given our previous visit was great, with no issues. Following check in, we headed to our allocated room. Upon opening the door, it appeared the room hadn’t been fully cleaned from the previous guests…..linen on the floor/beds not made. Therefore I heated back to reception to inform them. I was made to feel like I was in the wrong and didn’t know what I was talking about by the person I spoke to (Emma). I was asked several times what I meant by the room wasn’t ready to be checked into. I had to explain several times there was linen on the floor and the beds (all beds weren’t made). Emma challenged that this cannot be correct as the room had been serviced. The room may have been part serviced but certainly hadn’t been finished. We were allocated another room promptly. First glance, everything seemed fine and as expected but it was when we were settling the the evening I noticed how dusty/dirty the room was around the headboard, skirting boards, light fittings next to the bed. There was dust and cobwebs in many places. When getting into bed, there was an instant fousty/musty smell, like the bed hadn’t been used for a while and the bedding just left on. Not wanting to be that constant hotel complainer and having settled my 7 year old daughter for the night, I decided not to say anything and just spray the bed with perfume to try and disguise the smell. Breakfast was poor from an availability perspective. Not necessarily going to breakfast near closing time (we went for breakfast at 8:30am ish), there was so many items missing with not only myself having to ask for these to be replenished. It felt like I was an inconvenience for asking for what I see and key staple items you would expected at breakfast, i.e. fruit juice, butter, milk, bread. Overall not as pleasant of stay as previous, which is a Shane given its really handy location. I don’t think I’d use this Premier Inn again now due to the cleanliness and feel like I was an inconvenience for wanting a clean, fully serviced room to check into and have all advertised items available at breakfast.

Absolutely one of the worst Premier Inn's i've been to. The corridors were dirty and dusty, the room was the same, bathroom amenities were broken and dirty, lack of front of house staff, felt like I was in an unmanned hotel. Food staff were unhelpful, its like they are doing you a favour putting the food and drink for breakfast, properly the chefs were the only good thing as they were helpful. I was accosted at breakfast being accused I had not paid for breakfast when my name and room number were clearly on the sheet. Premier Inn, please help Josh as he can't read, he needs to be re-trained as he lacks customer service. I was stood 10mins with him, as he tried to insist I was not on the list, saying its all automated but when I looked my name was on he first page! Shocking site, this one really needs to be investigated and improved.

This hotel is a great location, the Premier Plus room was spotless, and comfortable. Evening meal menu offers something for all tastes. Meal deal excellent, but breakfast coming down late the offer was poor choice, coming down earlier much better but they need to keep the offer topped up. Also the car park is quite large but filled up completely, so you need to check in early nit too late in the evening as there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to park nearby if hotel full. Perhaps contact the hotel and ask where to park if their car park is full.

I had a great stay the food was great the room was perfect & the staff we're excellent & the location was just a stones through from where my training course was located.
