"Premier Plus room worth the extra!"
The entrance could do with some better/clearer signage to reception and how to use the lift as it's not a standard elevator but other than that, I had an excellent stay. The premier plus room was absolutely worth it, the mini-fridge & air con were much appreciated as it was 34° outside during my stay. The shower was great and toiletries were lovely. The whole room was very modern, clean and a nice chilled space to relax in. Check-in was quick and easy with very friendly and helpful staff. Although there was a little road noise from outside, the room was very quiet overall and despite being on the middle floor, there was no noise from above or below. The bed was very comfy as were the armchairs and the hotels location is very convenient for exploring the city or in my case, working in nearby locations. Shame the hotel doesn't have it's own carpark but I used one a 5 minute walk away which was fine, especially as the weather was so good.
"good place for city centre"
lovely comfy bed lovely room, bathroom has a purple light to use at night as not to disturb others help yourself to tea and coffee asked for more towels given no problems staff very friendly only downside is no parking but carpark within 10 min walk
"Premier Inn Stratford"
Great location, hotel and room was clean and tidy, everything we needed was there. The best thing were the staff, absolutely superb, couldn't do enough, hard working, polite and friendly. We'll be back!
"This hotel is a nightmare for anyone with mobility issues!"
If you have any access needs, I cannot stress enough how badly this hotel drops the ball. For context, I am a young disabled person who uses a rollator or cane (primarily the rollator for this trip due to the added stressor of extreme heat), but am able to get around without aids with some assistance. For this reason, I did not book an accessible room, as this was advertised as being wheelchair-adapted, with the bathroom as the main focus, so I can't speak to that particular experience. The accessibility issues we ran into, though, included the lift up to reception not being level with the upper floor, thus proving a hazard for any mobility aids. Aside from this, the floors me and my friends were on (2 and 3) had various steps up and down the corridor which couldn't be avoided using the lifts. This was not made clear on the website, and even the reception staff (who mentioned it upon seeing my rollator) claimed it was "2 to 3 steps" then a further "5 to 6 steps" on the second floor. I was uncertain about my ability to manage this, but the reception staff waved me off and offered no assistance, insisting it would be fine. This was untrue, with there being a short flight of about 6 steps up, and then a full flight of stairs back down. On the third floor there were five steps total, split into 2 and 3 with a landing in-between. Without assistance, I was left to struggle around (sometimes having to get around by sitting on the unclean steps) and my friends left to lift my rollator up and down stairs. This was despite an older couple who checked in before us being offered a different room if the stairs were too much, without them even asking. This level of ableism made me deeply uncomfortable and I can only hope it wasn't common across the whole staff. Finally, my friends noticed upon exploration that the disabled muster points in the event of fire on floors 2 and 3 required the traversing of steps from most rooms, with one (floor 2) placed directly between two flights of stairs that I couldn't manage standing up. This is unsafe and shows a lack of care for disabled guests. If any of this could be an issue for you or someone you're travelling with, spend your money elsewhere.
"Great location"
Good place to stay as central to Stratford upon Avon. Very short walk to shops/riverside. Beds were super comfy, as you’d expect from a Premier Inn. Entrance to hotel is not very welcoming in appearance, and you do have to go up several flights of stairs to reach reception. There is a lift, which is slow and self operated, but an option for hose who might be less able. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but for price it was fine. Would stay again as great location.
