"Cheap"
Location was great but not the best premier inn.Reception is two floors up to check in.Lots of stairs and hotel was like a rabbit warren. Not suitable if you are disabled.Room was ok but not great.premier plus room was quite small and missing items of the tea tray.Breakfast was poor ,no staff and missing standard items, what was there was cheap budget fare.wouldn’t stay in that particular hotel again quite disappointed.
"Do not use"
Staff were polite. Far too many stairs. The bathroom stank of drains and sewage. I hoped it was just dry pipework so I ran taps and shower but that made it worse. Young lad chef serving food lovely blonde hair not wearing a hat. I would never ever stay there again which is sad as we have family nearby. We will need to find another hotel for next time.
"Perfect for a town centre place to sleep"
Very convenient. Exactly what we wanted and we weren't going to hang at the hotel - just check in late and out early. It was perfect for location, cleanliness and convy
"Usual good standard overall, but rude on reception and window didn't close"
One of the more disappointing stays at a Premier Inn, we use them for most overnight stays, however the lady on reception was very brash, basically rude - to us and other customers. Our window latch was broken meaning we couldn't actually close it, so at night we could hear lots of noise from outside, including a pigeon which we initially thought was in the room with us.
"Could be better"
The 20 minute drop off no longer exists at this hotel, we used Bridgeway car park. The hotel is a rabbit warren of corridors, multi levels and lifts. As a rule I always use stairs but could not master the layout here, and was not the only person wandering around lost...scary thought in the event of a fire. If you want a king sized bed you need to book a twin room, otherwise you get allocated a double bed (despite requesting a king bed ahead of reservation per email). Continental breakfast selection is limited with no fresh fruit salad, berry mix, or muffins. The porridge was very good. The positives; if you can find your way out the location is very central, and the room and bathroom were clean and modern
