"Not the same,such a shame."
We have stayed in this hotel many times,but this time it seems to have deteriated in style and service,we ordered breakfast one big mistake it was cold and was somewhat lacking in taste,since our last visit they have employed a kitchen/ restruant helper,he was over talkative and seemed to intrude into conversations,the worst part was to see him carry waste from the kitchen to outside bin,re enter restaurant and proceed to handle food without washing his hands this is a strict no no these days. Will seek somewhere else next time.
"friendly staff and nice clean room"
Stayed for a night passing through. Staff were really friendly especially the breakfast man. Room was clean and well done.
"Very good location"
Location is very good, all the staff very helpful, service was excellent. The chef was very helpful, cooked special breakfast for my wife as she has gluten & dairy allergy. As our was facing the sun it made it very hot in the room even though we the fan on all day and night, maybe an Aircon would help.
"Fab & quiet premier inn backing onto pretty canal with shopping centre/ restaurant a short stroll away"
Great premier inn which backs onto a pretty canal with footpath and 300m from a shopping centre with restaurants/ shops etc. Staff were sooo nice and friendly. You got a really good feel that they are very well trained and genuinely want folk to enjoy their stay. The place is absolutely immaculate and free parking right outside. Also very quiet with no traffic noise. Fans were on even in the corridors to keep the hotel cool which was a thoughtful touch. Glasses of water and fruit at reception was a bonus too.
"Great Breakfast"
Great breakfast from Glossop's finest, Mr Roxi, if you want a plant based brecky he will look after you. Terrible Wi-Fi so I paid the a fiver for premium and it was still uder par, although I got three free days after I explained the issues I was having, very nice staff.
