Rugby North (Newbold) hotel

I have used Premier Inns many times over the years and find them good quality. This time was no exception. The hotel was well presented. clean and airy. The room a standard one was clean, tidy and had a fresh feeling to it. The breakfast room is bright and open. A good range of food was on offer both cooked and savoury. A 5 star call out to Shane who went above the call of duty in helping the guests with fresh and extra food. You my wonder why only 4 star rating well its for two reasons. Firstly the pricing. Of my three day stay two days cost around £150 each! I understand pricing policy around high demand but the hotel was only half full and the accommodation does not warrant this price especially then the breakfast is not included in that price another £10 per day. The second was the internet connection something out of the stone age. If it would connect at all it was extremely slow, unusable. There was an option to pay £5 a day for better connection but really in this day and age good connectivity should be standard.

Its situated in a convenient location on the outskirts of Rugby. Fantastic staff and really great and reasonably priced breakfasts. Very helpful and good food well cooked.

We stayed for a night at the Premier Inn in Rugby. Rooms were really modern, fresh and clean. I loved having a shower instead of shower/ bath combo. Receptionist was great, and helpful. Parking was easy, vending machine in reception and Harvester next door. Massive shopping outlet also down the road. Would recommend.

The best breakfast experience in the Premier Inn network and I’ve stayed at loads. Shane the chef really makes a good fry up and can’t be more helpful and just what you need first thing in the morning. The reception staff are welcoming and whenever I visit my head office in Rugby a couple of minutes drive away, I always request this hotel. The best breakfast and customer service experience and highly recommended. 5⭐️

Hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were super friendly, accomodating and always smiling. No request was a problem for the staff. Rooms were fresh, clean and fully prepared upon arrival. Shops are a few minute drive away and town is local too for exploring. Great location. Highly recommended!
