"Agnes on reception turned my evening around"
I rolled in here around 8pm after a miserable, rainy drive up the M6 for work, feeling completely wiped out. The lady on reception, Agnes, completely turned my evening around. She had my key card sorted in under a minute, pointed me toward where I could grab a quick bite before the kitchen shut down, and even checked to make sure I had plenty of milk pods for the kettle in my room. It made for an extremely perfect arrival when all I really wanted to do was drop my bags and crash. Everyone working that evening was lovely, but Agnes in particular was so genuinely helpfull and welcoming after a tiring day on the road. The room was warm, silent facing away from the main road, and the bed was properly comfortable. Will certainly stay here on my next business trip to Rugby.

WiFi was very weak and unusable. Rooms are very hot with no air con. Window opened to a loud humming noise. Provide fan was loud and couldn't be placed near the bed. Food in the bar was the worst I've had for some time.

Room was satisfactory.
Unable to eat evening meal in restaurant due to recent changes within the company.
Staff were extremely helpful considering the circumstances of the situation especially Agnes who went above & beyond her role to ensure we had everything we needed at breakfast.

From the moment we walked through the door, our stay was made by Luca on reception. His greeting was one of the warmest welcomes we've ever received at a hotel, striking that perfect balance of genuine friendliness and professionalism.
As a gay couple travelling together, it also meant a great deal to see a rainbow lanyad worn proudly by staff. It's a small detail, but small details speak volumes, it told us immediately that this is a place where everyone is welcome, and we could relax and simply enjoy our time. Visibility like that matters more than many hotels realise.
The rest of our stay lived up to that first impression: comfortable room, smooth check-in, and an overall great stay
