Leamington Spa Town Centre hotel

Really nice hotel. Great location. Seems like it’s been newly done up. Breakfast is cheap. Personally I didn’t rate as it feels cheap and non nutritious but if you are happy with that then it’s a bargain. Family Room was huge and honestly couldn’t fault it

Great location Premier Inn, perfect for Leamington Spa. Rooms are clean and quiet and well equipped. Friendly, helpful staff, with a special mention for Paola, running breakfast front of house single handed, so efficiently with a smile and incredible energy. An absolute credit to Premier Inn, who are very lucky to have her on their staff. There is a Co op right next door, and the shops and beautiful parks are on the doorstep.

Most things about this hotel are fine - location; breakfast; most rooms. But the family room we were given this time was rubbish. A near-windowless box, depressing bathroom with broken shower temperature dial, and a funny smell. Beds are comfy at least but unless I know how to avoid that room when staying with family I’d rather not go back.

The only reason this is getting two instead of one stars is because of the hard working staff in the hotel, but this was a terrible trip, and clearly the hotel were breaking the law on our visit. Our allocated room had a broken bed, and as there were no other Premiere Plus rooms available we were offered a room in the basement, but in this room the lights weren't working, so with a bit of improvisation I propped up the bed with the room dustbin, which held out, and we moved room for the 2nd night. But, the horrifying bit of this trip is that the hotel didn't have a working fire alarm system during our stay. We found while sitting in reception when the manager and contractors were discusssing that the fire alarm hadn't been working for several days which is why they were in at the weekend installing a new panel, and once fitted, the manager would then have to learn how to use it, and then train the night manager at 11pm when they started their shift. While we there, there were no additional staff on working to to evacuate guests in the event of an alarm (what staff there were, were great, but seemed to be overwhelmed with work already), so God help anybody who stayed there the same time as us if there had been an emergency. What absolutely sucks, is when I emailed and complained about this, the reply was that it was wrong for staff to discuss these matters in public (realy??!!!), and absolutely no mention or apology at all of the fact they were risking lives. Needless to say, I don't recommend staying here.

Terrible time and this hotel. Stayed for 2 nights £208 . Had ants in the bed and bathroom along with pubic hair and urine along skirting board. Complained in the morning moved to a room in lower level. No light and a fan you couldnt turn off . 2night no sleep We recieved no good night sleep guarantee money back . Sent multiple complaints and phone calls, a email did arrive back saying nothing they could do and case closed Stay away from premier inn !
