"Lovely stay."
I booking this hotel by mistake, thinking I had booked North Shields but stayed longer than intended because I was so comfortable. The room was newly refurbished and pleasany and the bed exceptionally comfortable. It was quiet and I got a great sleep and at breakfast both the continental and cooked options were very nice. Staff are very warm, friendly and helpful and reception is very welcoming. I also found the coastal area lovely.

The staff at this Premier Inn were great, from Suzanne who checked us in, the friendly house keeping team, Samantha on reception, Chris on night reception and Brooke on breakfast and Hellen who checked us out, perfect stay.

I usually look for a Premier Inn for a UK town/city stay, as I feel ‘you know what you’re going to get’ I.e. clean and comfortable. The South Shields hotel was the usual good standard, the exception was the breakfast team who went over and above, ensuring that food was constantly available as soon as possible, and guests were looked after very well, despite being a very busy Women’s Rugby World Cup start weekend. Well done and thank you to chef Brooke, and FOH Asha, for making us feel very welcome and looked after.
"Wonderful weekend in South Shields"
We received a warm welcome upon arrival after a 6 hour drive. Room was large, modern, clean, comfortable and pretty luxurious. Buffet Breakfast was superb (full english) with black pudding on offer alongside the imposters (hash browns) . A special mention for the chef, Brooke, quality ingredients cooked perfectly & Asha who was friendly and super efficient. Both ladies were happy and friendly, singing along as they worked, acoomodating requests for veggie sausages, engaging in in small talk without compromising service for any of the other diners/guests. Such a wonderful experience for our spectacular weekend at the Women’s Rugby World cup. We would definitely re-visit and highly recommend this very well located premier in.
