"Fantastic stay at Premmier Inn"
Stayed at Premier Inn North Shields for one night before getting the ferry to Amsterdam and had a really lovely experience. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming, and the food was lovely too. It was a great place to stay the night before travelling, and everything made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Would definitely recommend staying here if youâre getting the ferry, and Iâd happily stay again! đ

"What a great breakfast, happy and helpful staff"
I'd be happy to return, the staff very pleasant and chatty, very visible and helpful. What a great breakfast. I was told in advance by friends of issues with travellers, I witness no issues, no traveller in the vicinity. As I said happy to return.

We have stayed at this hotel before but this time the room we were given was poor not cleaned properly and the rubbish outside was everywhere due to the traveller encampment just 50 yards from the hotel which had dogs barking constantly a totally unsatisfactory stay

Room, albeit basic was clean and bed was super comfy.
Bathroom was clean but lacked a loo brush!
Staff were so friendly (a special mention to Susan (Suzanne?) who was an absolute star!
Dining was superb. Breakfast was plentiful and evening meal was delicious and the staff were extra cheery and helpfulâŚ.now for the downsideâŚthe remains of a traveller site opposite the Inn was absolutely disgusting. It was my first visit âup northâ and the impression I got when I saw the mess, rubbish, dirty nappies, disgarded furniture only feet away from our room was enough to make us consider checking out and finding somewhere elseâŚ(we were only there 2 nights so shut the curtains and ignored it) But itâs pretty grimâŚso be prepared!

Wet your whistle in the bars and restaurants of Newcastle, then watch the Magpies play. Or go back in time walking along Hadrian's Wall. The coast is waiting to be explored too, with Whitley Bay close by. Then splash down back at the hotel for mouth-watering food at our Premier Inn restaurant, and some very comfy beds.
