    "Excellent value"
    I stayed two nights at this hotel while visiting the North East. There is plenty of parking space and it is free. The outside of the hotel looks a tad tired as does the reception area however the staff are very welcoming and helpful and the room was extremely comfortable and very clean with pure white bedding and fluffy white towels. Excellent value and a good nights sleep guaranteed. Breakfast next door was plentiful and also excellent value. Try the caffe it is amazing!!
    "Dreadful Night's Experience"
    Our room 127 was so hot we had difficulty sleeping even with no coverings on us. The window only opened by 2 inches so we could not get any cooler air from outside. There was no air conditioning unit and the fan provided only re-circulated the very hot air. I discovered the following morning that the rooms that did not face across to the outlet shopping centre were much cooler.

    Very good experience From booking in to booking out The meal at the restaurant was very good -Greeting, Service was very good. Clearing plates etc as soon as required without being asked.
    "Great hotel next to the Ferry Terminal"
    Everything about this hotel was great. Cleanliness is alway the same whichever of their hotels you stay at. The only down side was that our room was opposite the main road to the ferry terminals and traffic ran most of the night. When guests stay there in the future I would suggest that they ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. Then you get the odd idiot that has been out drinking until late and decide to continue their loud conversations walking down the corridors leading to their rooms. Food next door in the Brewers Fayre was really good and their breakfast was perfect
    "Just the job!"
    We have visited here several times, always a great place to stay. We were there to attend a family funeral, location was very good. Staff friendly and helpful, as usual, a special mention for Nicola, who have advice on taxis and restaurants. These hotels give you everything you need, and you know what to expect. We stayed in one of the older rooms, so the temperature was ok for us. Thank you, see you next time!

    Hotel description

    Water seems all around you at Premier Inn Hotel North Shields. We're perfectly located if you're taking a ferry to Europe and we're very handy for local business centres too. Wet your whistle in the bars and restaurants of Newcastle, then watch the Magpies play. Or go back in time walking along Hadrian's Wall. The coast is waiting to be explored too, with Whitley Bay close by. Then splash down back at the hotel for mouth-watering food at our Brewers Fayre, and some very comfy beds.
