Newcastle (Team Valley) hotel

Had a fairly enjoyable evening staying at the property eith particular mention too Dan on the bar who was personable and incredibly friendly. The only downside of the evening was the small squad of children running up and down the halls most of the night and banging on doors overall an okay evening already planning to come back in a few weeks

I was very disappointed with my stay at Premier Inn Newcastle Team Valley. I checked in around 9pm and went straight out to watch football, only returning to the hotel at around 1:30am. When I got into bed, I found what appeared to be dried snot on the bed sheet, which suggested the bedding hadn’t been changed properly. The following morning, one of the towels had a strong smell of feet and was unusable, so my partner had to use my towel instead. We reported both issues to reception before leaving the hotel at around 10am (checkout wasn’t until 12pm). The receptionist apologised, but after contacting Guest Relations, Premier Inn refused to offer any compensation, saying the issues weren’t reported during the night, even though they were reported before we left the hotel. I’ve always expected better standards of cleanliness from Premier Inn, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope the hotel improves its housekeeping standards so other guests don’t have the same experience.

Excellent overall experience, it made our journey and our stay so comfortable. I would have no hesitation booking here again on our next visit.

On arrival, staff were very friendly and welcoming. They had sorted spare bed requirements for our room. Lots of parking in car park and air conditioning in reception. Room was fine, pretty standard, a bit warm but fan available, no air conditioning. Breakfast was very disappointing. Luke warm food and poor selection of bread and pastries. Would not pay for it again.

Very welcoming, extremely helpful in preparing gluten free breakfast. We will highly recommend comfortable, clean and efficient.
