    Limited chargeable on-site parking is available at the hotel on a first come first served basis, charged at £12 per night. The car park is located underground with access via locked gates on Lombard Street. Please call reception via the intercom to gain access. Height restriction applies: 2.3 metres.

    Due to the weekly Quayside Market, Quayside Road is closed to vehicles every Sunday from 06:30-17:00. Recommended access to the hotel is via Swing Bridge and the side roads around Dean Street.

    Alternative, off-site chargeable parking is available nearby at Quayside Multi Storey Car Park (NE1 2HJ) just a 5-minute walk from our hotel at £8.00 per day, 7am opening - 12am closing.

    "Not a good experience"
    Hotel needs a good clean and a refurb as we always stay here when visiting Newcastle, but have noticed the down turn after each stay. I don’t think we will be returning next time we visit Newcastle.
    "Grey and grotty"
    Very run down and grotty hotel. Very strange and unpleasant smells throughout the building. The room was very grey, grotty and grubby. Was tempted to leave and book a different hotel but didn’t want to lose the money. wouldn’t recommend at all. Travel lodge down the quayside was miles better.

    Very good location, easy access using metro from airport. Friendly helpful staff. We stayed five nights. Room only, didn't bother with breakfast. We hired a car for two days, so the underground car park was useful, £25. We were on the third floor. It was quiet with a large flat screen TV. Kettle and decent size mugs. We were comfortable enough. No room service unless requested. The hotel is in need of a refurb. Certainly some things need attention. eg. One morning I couldn't turn the shower off, I had to run down to reception. It wasn't the first time that had happened, I was told! Also,while the manager was in the room I mentioned the hairdryer that was attached to the wall, wasn't anywhere near the mirror! He agreed and got a separate hairdryer immediately, for our stay. All in all, for the price we enjoyed our stay. We definitely enjoyed Newcastle.

    Overall a pleasant stay in a great location near the Quayside and walk from the centre. Staff on arrival were welcoming and friendly and explained the process to park in the hotel. 1 thing I wish I knew was the charge to drive to the hotel- clea air. £17.50 a day.

    This hotel is full of civil bared Poo on the windows and the hotel itself means a good updating and cleaning. I would not recommend to stay here as you don't get any sleep. Due to the vehicles landing unleaves, screaching all day and all night
