"Friendly and welcoming"
Excellent - clean with some much appreciated extra touches for the Great North Run. Friendly staff and a special shout out to Kathleen hostess in the breakfast restaurant who was simply outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble.
"Squeaky floorboards!"
No air-con hence room hot. Squeaky floorboards above and on corridors so difficult to sleep. Bed ironically very comfortable and breakfast excellent.

We have stayed many times here and always enjoy the friendliness and the nice rooms. Premier plus rooms new this time and worth the extra
"Sardines in a tin!"
careful!! the family rooms dont seem to be as big as many other premier inn family rooms... if you need two childrens beds as well as your double you may be like sardines in a tin!!
"Excellent value."
Excellent staff service throughout the hotel and very friendly and helpful. Very clean throughout and the full English breakfast was well worth every penny. Would definitely stay here again.
