Newcastle Gosforth/Cramlington hotel

Great base for some sleep after a late arrival into Newcastle airport. Easy to get to, parking. The room was clean and seemed to have a recent update. As others have pointed out, the hotel is under the flight path though it didn’t bother us at all. Convenient breakfast bar on site. Like most Premier Inns, it can be quite noisy with lots of doors slamming, but that’s the only downside when considering the nightly price.

Had a lovely 2 night stay The hotel was excellent and the staff were lovely especially Kathleen and Sarah in the restaurant would definitely recommend staying here

The location is convenient, with a fuel station, Greggs, Wetherspoon’s, McDonald’s, and major roads close by for onward travel. However, there are some significant drawbacks. The first room I was given had an overpowering sewage smell — something the staff were already aware of. I was only offered an alternative room after raising a complaint. The hotel sits directly under a flight path, so expect frequent early‑morning noise from passing aircraft. Being close to a major road also means loud traffic usually early morning.

The Premier is located easy to commute to lots of places , it’s a bit dated but is clean and tidy . There is plenty of free parking but it only serves breakfast although there is a pub next door .

Great stay in a value for money hotel with very friendly staff and a fantastic cooked breakfast. Nice quiet room, ample free parking, good location for exploring the north east. Hotel next door is now a Wetherspoons with the usual food and drink offerings.
