"Excellent hotel, excellent staff & would definately stay here again"
Excellent location with river views. There was a really pleasant atmosphere as soon as we arrived. The rooms were a good size & very clean & comfortable. We didn't hear any noise from other guests & slept really well.
Beds were really comfy, although I found the pillows quite hard, but my husband loved them. That's just personal choice. All areas were exceptionally clean, with really comfy seating in reception, right through to the dining room. Lifts to all floors, which was excellent as we cannot manage stairs. Plenty of parking space & plenty of disability spaces too.
The service was second to none. Staff went out of their way to help. Nothing was too much trouble, even booking us a taxi to our appointments.
We had breakfast & evening meals whilst there. We could not fault the food at all & were asked if we had any dietary requirements or allegies, which was very considerate. They also served alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks & beers, which we appreciated after a long day of medical appointments & a conferance too. The whole place had a warm & welcoming vibe, which had a lot to do with the team who looked after us there. This was our second stay here & there will definately be a third.

Had to book last. Was seen at reception by guy named Callum..nothing was too much trouble. We had a few small plates to share for dinner with a pint. Food was nice and fresh and tasty. Breakfast was great value too. Again nice and hot and fresh. But the staff made this hotel great. Thank you Callum and the rest of the staff. Will be back.

"One of the better Premier Inns i have stayed in"
Always enjoy coming to this Premier Inn, I have stayed in many as I work away a lot. The staff are friendly, Callum and Gemma helped me and a colleague settle back in as we had to stay an extra night due to finishing work late. Food is normally good here of an evening and breakfast. Close to the Tyne River which is a nice walk. The rooms are clean and well stocked. Generally decent Atmosphere here. Cannot comment on Value as the company pays for i, would still recommend though.

"Great North run"
Absolutely superb. All staff were so friendly, helpful and courteous. They could not do enough for me. Taxis were booked, train timetables were found and printed off for me. Sweets, water and pins were provided before the race an similarly afterwards plus bath salts. A fantastic stay. Thank you so much.

It took an hour to get our dinner, and then the chicken hadn't been cooked properly.
